I believe if Agnetha had come to Nashville to record, she would have been a star in country music. A lot of the lyrics she wrote fit well with many other country songs. The orchestration sounds '60s country. If you hear her sing the Skeeter Davis classic "The End Of The World", you'll understand what I mean.

@phileustace How do you know that? have you been in Sweden many times? Agnetha had these typical Swedish looks (blonde long hair, blue eyes, tall, nice sweet talking) wich is pretty normal in Sweden. She looked good and I like her voice very much, but I can't say she is the most beautiful (swedish) woman I've ever seen...She has said herself that she couldn't understand all this attention to her, and she didn't think she was THAT beautiful..but i dont know, maybe she is, maybe not....;)

Agnetha was that beautiful "70's style" of woman that no longer exists in todays society ..... maybe only in some specific region like a very small town in Iceland. You dont find women like this any more. Maybe one day in my dreams I will have christmas dinner with Agnetha complete with the finest cake and personal singing before she tucks me into bed ;)

Absolutely right. She sang this song. She was also with swedish actor/singer Bert-Åke Varg and she sang two duet with him : Blommor och bin and Inge och Sten.

Everybody seem to forget that Agnetha was a big star before ABBA. She has written so many good songs. I had the great fortune to see her entertain at a Folkpark show close to a Swedish MC race I competed in many years ago. Loved her ever since - which my wife knows and smiles at.
