  • OH, MY EYE! I CAN FEEL THE BLOOD RUSHING DOWN MY EYE!

  • Certified dopified!!!

  • Rappers don't flow like this anymore.

  • mc serch wit a shaved head

  • yo that air brushed shit with punisher joint serch is rocking, i flipped when i saw that for the first time....yo lol feel me????

  • Yo 3rd bass funny as hell!

    Especially the skits they make!

They the most animated trio ever!

    I love 3rd Bass!

  • @MD1ism word best skits and violent interlude is one of the dopest shits ever to grace a video

  • 3rd bass ripped it sooo nice!! they could wax any of these new age rappers and would destroy eminem and that suck ass lil wayne or kanye west or any of these bullshit rappers in the scene. this album was soooo slept on and under rated it aint even funny.

  • fuck tha south real hip hop

  • South shit is mainstream now and it sucks, thats all thats on the car radio. cant wait till a good North East shit to come out.

  • i dont get it why not use the original version for this video that beat from the album is hot as balls from a 91 summer

  • Right on HanMano. This remix was made exclusively for an MTV release (back when they still were into music) and wasn't even on the respective album this single is on at all. Nicely done for VHS

  • Thanks man! Greets from germany.

  • @DrunkenMaster8717 i had this on vhs too and my boy jacked it and i had awhole sement done on them by some old show i forgot the name i always loved this mix

  • @DrunkenMaster8717 The Cactus Album was the best album... until The Cactus Revisited.

  • dude , dats wat i called old skool......

  • i think its the break from SWAT theme(76' n shit)

  • @svahaid dont forget UTFO ripped this sample also

  • I always thought that Prime Minister Pete Nice would've been the white version of Jay-Z in the rap game had he kept going and there probably wouldn't have been an Eminem.I think he would've developed into an even better rapper with different flow today and yes he was that good.

  • remember back then they would release a video version with one beat but the album joint was different? i always liked this mix

  • stupid def song!derelicts of dialect is one of the most underated albums in hip hop ever.its almost on the same level in production as the legendary cactus album (for me the best produced album in hip hop so far).it also has more serious content and the developed flow of pete nice, who sounds crazy dope here..

  • Word. The Cactus album is a Masterpiece and its still spinning on my turntables after all this years.

    Greets

  • maybe the greatest white hip hop record so far.sayin turntables i suppose u got it as a vinyl.lucky man!

  • Jep got it on plastic! Was hard to get in germany back in the days.

  • haha,if it was dificult to find it in germany the days near its release, imagine how hard is to find it here in greece today...

  • @chrisrap4ever word SD50 were dope and Sam Sever , perfect fit for all cats involved....oh ya and serch is dropping that old ny back in the day shit people!!!!!!

  • classsic ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • OOOH MY EYE!! OOOOH MY EYE!! That was my favorite part of the video

  • this is hot pete nice is mad sexii

  • Remix is wicked. They should have release No Static At All on 12 too...

  • Cool comments: From Rakim's "wall" to Daddy Rich having the baddest hands. These guys were the first and only white kids that could lay it down.

  • i love this song but this remix sux

  • this remix is tight as hell

  • Fuck M&M these guys would kick the shit out of him!

  • Man this song is tight from the beat to the lyrics. Takes you to that dark surreal place of hip-hop. Classic shit I could bump on a late Friday night, either in the city or a long drive down some highway.

Just my hip-hop and me. Me and my hip-hop.

I don't know why Eminem was dissing these guys. They are better in my estimation, individually or as a group. And without having to use any of that teen angst/violent shit.

  • @nportillo73 not to mention they don't need to swear, and they use multisyllabic, interesting words a lot. Eminem makes rhymes by rearranging one and two syllable words and/or saying them faster until he can finally squeeze out a rhyme on the last syllable. Also, they're all common everyday words, nothing really poetic at all, just over-dramatic and always crass.

Not that Eminem has no skills, he's got something (I guess), but I just far far prefer this stuff. Guess I'm just an old man haha.

  • Daddy Rich kills it all day.

  • That's true.....thanks, Rich

  • Maybe it's just me but I like to hear more dope tracks layed down for Pete Nice.

  • Isn't that the same wall(where the graffiti is) where they filmed "I Ain't No Joke" by Eric B. & Rakim?

  • Exactly. Serch was nice no doubt, but Pete's whole approach was totally distinct and completely unique. The lyrics, specific words and even the rhyme scheme, sometimes half-rhymes, no rhymes and crazy alliteration were pure dope.

  • Classic 3rd Bass. Pete Nice and Serch had their own language and could flow.

  • Damn right. There are very few artists where you'd wanna study the words. They flow like water.

  • "I use to meet ya momz between the sheets" pete nice gotz lyrics-3rd bass didn't get the props they should of-Eminem clowned on dem a few times but that junkie wouldn't be here if it wasn't for dem'!

  • why Gilbert Gottfried is in their video again?

  • Attention White Rappers....If you can't beat these guys in a battle forget about rapping..

    These guys killed it!

  • just like your dad

  • is this the only insult you have?

  • One of the few videos that had Yankee Stadium in it.

  • "oah my eye!"

  • yeah you are

  • and its still better than 99.9% of the shit you listen to....fag

  • petes one of my all time favs

  • Can't believe these kids got dissed for "trying to be Black" WTF?! Glad they came correct with "Product of the Environment" How did Serch win the belt in 1988? Lyrics!!! Pete gets props as a hoopster and artist. Nuff said!!

  • Yo degrees u know da deal par! I used to run home after school to record Video Music Box, the OG of Video Shows. I still have the Cactus album on vinyl and cassette. Actually pollied one day with MC Serch in 92' @ Burlington Coat factory in 5 Towns, he was trying to talk me out of boosting some Polo shit...my response was I was a Product of my Environment!! True Story!

  • if ya lokki at this ya down by law!!!!

  • remix was always a treat in tha golden era i was a dj and i loved to have a remix on a single!!!! kid!

  • hot track back in the day,but the original beat is better than the remix.

This song was my favorite off the cd.

The dj scrathing made the original beat hizot.

  • I'm torn. I can't pick between the two, both versions are fire.

  • spurled

  • you're like Art Garfunkel and eat spam

  • Du bon son qui passait dans rapline a l'epoque.third bass......

  • gilbert gottfried killin it!

  • lyrics!!!

  • oh my eye! LOFL!

  • Does anyone know the name of that classic sample? And where i can get a copy of it?

Saw 3rd bass at kentish town forum in whatever year they split as it was a week after the gig.

  • Samples "Theme From S.W.A.T" by Rhythm Heritage. It's the part where they take it to the bridge.

  • Dope Lyrics, Real Hip Hop..not ignorant raps of today! Classic Video..3:06 "and pop rap couldnt get a dime to eat"..Funny now these pop hop artists are making millions off baby rhymes! sad state of hip hop

  • That's real talk, money grip!!!

  • Thanks for posting this. It's a shame the sound quality is so poor.

  • VHS Tape record :/

    Rule #2

  • Thought I'd never find this ......... thanks. A friend put this on a mix tape in the old days, never knew if he mixed the groove in from something else. This makes my day ... of course I lent the tape to a chick and never got it back ..... haven't heard this since '92. Thanks again. Much Love lll-lll

  • I loved this version! CNN used this sample for ''Thug Paradise.''

  • A song comes to mind when I see alot of old rap videos (Common - I used to love H.E.R.)
