I like how in this episode, the author shows some love for bigger girls. I'm not big or tiny, but one of my best friends is a little larger, and it really hurts her when a guy she likes ends up with a tiny girl. She's always telling me about how "if only I was skinnier, he'd like me" and stuff like that, but really a guy should like more about u then just ur appearance anyways. Kairi certainly isn't perfect by any means, but I think that he's one of the few characters on this show that can be pretty rational and mature (not so much with hurting Momo's feelings). He warns Momo about how tricky the friends with benefits card is (honest about whether she considered how hard it'd be knowing he'd be thinking about Misao). He's confused like Momo was. His truth hurts, but at least it's honest and straightforward, and he wants to be emotionally stable before dating her again.
