Damn my bad software luck xD I've got sli gtx 460s and yet for some ODD reason at ultra i get like 20fps on this game and I have to play at lowest everything :L
Example: put in 2GBs of DDR3-1333 for RAM with dual-core of AMD or Intel and GTX 570....result is good quality but crappy performance....STOP PLAYING YOURSELVES and GET MORE RAM..what is the point of getting better video card and knowing you have 1 or 2 gigs of RAM? stop playing the hater game.
we've been this argument a thousand times......theories, chances and hands on...the performance of your video card about 60 percent of the time plays a major role in overall performance. the rest is CPU and RAM.
@geekyloopholesfinder I'm running my whole setup with a Rosewill 630W. The Cooler master extreme 700 watt is definitely a better power supply than mine and has more wattage so it should be fine.
@unscarred785 So you do you have 2 video cards or just 1? I ask because I have the same video card and get 22 FPS on Everything on highest it can go and I have a i7 2600k with plenty of ram
@Urbz1988 It performs great, With my cpu at 4.20GHz it idles between 24-28c depending on the room temperature and dust. The highest I've seen it go was about 58c and that was running Intel burn test at max for over 2 hours. Since i only play with V-Sync on because i hate screen tearing it never goes over 60fps.
In most cases, dual 550s will be near the same margin of a 560.
But a 570 WILL ALWAYS be ahead. a 570 has 100 more cuda cores then a 550 sli, and it doesnt have to deal with SLI scaling, what made you think itll outperform a 570?
@TheDJVAQ I use my own personal proof because i have a 570 system in the other room, At higher resolutions my 550's will be on par or better then my 570 and costs much less.
I found a vid posted by the channel "motherboardsorg"
And if thats the vid YOURE talking about, it goes against everything YOU are telling me, the 560 isnt even in the comparison list and the 570 beat the 550 in all synthetic and game benchmarks, so i really dont understand why youd send me the video.
@TheDJVAQ Some people actually have lives. As you can see from the Motherboards-org video the 550 TI in SLI is either on par or in some cases better with only a few fps difference. I would say that's pretty damn good considering how much a gtx 570 costs compared to two 550's, How could you not agree with that?
@TheDJVAQ two ASUS GTX 550 TI's are $259.98, 1 EVGA GTX 570 is $339.99. The difference of about 5fps is not worth the extra cost. I'm really starting to think that you're just trolling now..
@GordonFreemanMedia It should run the same, Are you using the 550 in SLI also? If not then you will probably have to lower your resolution and par back some settings. These cards aren't very good on their own but in SLI they are awesome!
@GordonFreemanMedia Hmm that 500 watts would be pushing it. I feel like my 620 watt psu is not enough for my current setup but it's hanging in their. What model is the psu that comes with the kit?
@XxGMasterxX Sorry i haven't been on for a while due to Christmas shopping and stuff. The I5 2500K is an awesome processor and will probably out perform my Phenom II x6 even at my high clock speed. The rest of the system looks good and will probably be better than mine with that cpu lol.
@unscarred785 Can you add me on steam, i gotta go over the computer more with you ( My first purchase and things are changing all the time. Tell me your steam :3
i just have phenom x4 955 and i want it to run on 4.0 ghz and it still unstable with 1.520 and u say u running it on 4.2 with that voltage kinda weird ....
@idan124 Their's a lot you need to factor in here. Ram timing and speed, HyperTransport and north bridge. On top of that every CPU is a little different and no two will overclock the same. I have a 6 core 1055T and you have a 4 core 955, They won't overclock the same way. It's all trial and error but eventually you will get it to where you want, Good luck.
@idan124 I have it set to 1.524 volts, It took me a long time and the Antec Kuhler 620 to get the cpu to run at 4.20Ghz. If you have any more questions I'll be glad to answer them for you.
@jatinman40 I'm actually using an Evga GTX 550TI and a PNY GTX 550TI. If you click on my channel you will see a pic of my PC. The bottom card is the PNY, I just stuck an EVGA sticker on it lol.

@unscarred785 The 2 systems are obviously much different, a 550 ti's specs, doubled still cant beat the 570, and it FOR SURE wont scale perfectly.
In other words, theres something wrong with your "proof".
