Is this some kind of tradition with opera singing where you clap everytime someone hits a very melodious note? I know people shout and stuff for other songs but the audience is clapping. Just something I noticed.
Are you sure you are not seeing Turks wearing them? It's not common at all amongst Italian teens. This, I believe, is just their new look for the show!!
why does all italians wear black jackets. i live in munich and the city is fully with men with black shiny jackets. is it forbidden in italia to wear something else?
When Ignazio hit high notes particulary towards the end of the song he does it with unbelievable ease and in angelic smile, it was so incredibly awesome, so adorably enchanting. They were individually unique and different but when they sing together, it's magical. I sincerely hope and pray that they will not be exploited or abused. The three young men look so pure and so passionate about singing. May God bless and guide them.

Even the charm of his personality is magical. The combination and blending of the 3 young men are so wonderfully appealing.

Bravo, bravo! What voices........POWER all the way! How can these beautiful voices come out of these 3 young teenagers. If you have not bought their CD, you need to do that. It is the best $10 you will spend. Each song is more beautiful than the other. I just cannot stop listening to it. These 3 tenors could make it on their own, that is for certain, but together they are a powerhouse! I hope that they never stop singing together. Awesome! Fantastic!

I'm in Love :D These guys are GREAT!!! They've each got their own style going on. At first, they kinda looked goofy to me. Once they open their mouths and sing those sweet melodies, I get weak in the knees lol. Wish I had some cutie pies like these to sing to me!

Bravissimo Italia! You really gave great singers to the world! Saw them this saturday for the first time in the German show "Wetten dass..." They are really great. What wonderful voices they have. And it's so weird how they look like: One looks like a young Mafiosi and Gigolo, one like Harry Potter, one looks very friendly and nice but a bit chubby, but all that is forgotten when they open their mouths and sing. Il Volo is unbelievable!
Il Mondo is one of my favorite songs on their CD. This concert was taped (7 months ago) when Gianluca was still 15 in December (he turned 16 Feb. 11). And yet with this hair style he looks 18. I guess that the producers didn't want any "Elvis" comparisons, so they returned his hair to its' more natural Italian curly look for the USA premier.
@GerRoland Not for anything, but Italians per se don't have curly hair, the other two boys don't and they are Italian. Peiros hair is dead straight and so is Ignacio. Just for the record. @gusjet1 I was a little harsh in my last post, I appologize. My point was not specific to Italians... but to Europeans in general... they are more tolerant of young people with curly hair. Although I was born in Germany, I came to the USA at age 5... and the American kids in my classes at school would make fun of my curly hair. It bothered me then, but now I am proud to still have curly hair... many of them are now bald! Read my IL VOLO comments on other songs, I'm a big fan of theirs...
This is now my favorite song. The more I listen, the more beautiful it becomes. The three voices of Il Volo are amazing. I hope they continue their career as a trio for many years to come. The young people of America need to listen to and appreciate music and voices like this. ♫♥♫♥♫

Absolutely amazing!! I have been a musician for over 50 years now and taught music for over 30 and these three young men took my breath away the first time I heard them. They aged them a little bit that's true... but these kids are also growing up. Since the "Ti lascio una Canzone" show where they met 2 years ago.... they're no longer 14, 14 & 15.
Gianluca just turned 16 on Feb. 11, Ignazio also turned 16 last Oct. 4, and Piero will be 18 on June 24. They're trying to make them look sexier... and the only way to do that is to make them look older... they're not kids anymore... they're now young men...

I love them and their amazing voices are there, but it is almost like they aged them with their hair and their over all looks. They're still amazing but I like them the way they were.
I just can't get over how good these young guys are! I've not stopped watching this video in the past week, they're an absolute joy to listen to and are obviously enjoying themselves. If I could only choose to listen to just one song for the rest of my life it'd be this one! I love them!
I took Spanish in Junior High School, over 40 years ago! Needless to say, I didn't use it and forgot most of it. This really makes me want to learn the language even more. Beautiful voices!

The Il Divo guys are almost 40.... do you really want to wait 24 years to see IL VOLO tour?? LOL.... these guys will be around for a looooong time.
I bet that IL VOLO's Italian mothers are appalled that their boys are doing concerts in tattered jeans (an American tradition).... speaking of which... I saw Gianluca's parents sitting in the front row of the Italian competition 2 years ago. He gets his good looks mainly from his mother... a very very beautiful woman.

Absolutely amazing!! I have been a musician for over 50 years now and taught music for over 30 and these three young men took my breath away the first time I heard them. God given voices from above is what these young men have! I just hope that the commercial music industry doesn't ruin them! REAL MUSIC being sung by REAL VOICES!! BRAVISSIMO!!!

I so agree with you............commercial music of today is garbage and I also hope they don't get caught up in it. I just hope they continue to sing the classic ballads that were so beautiful as compared to this slime we hear today.

It is My sincere wish that these boys manage to open the american audience to italian music the good italian music such as al bano whose several songs they have already sung. USA with their justin bieber and johnas brothers and hanna montanas and lil waynes, can only dream for this. THIS IS REAL SINGING, BRAVO

They aged them a little bit that's true... but these kids are also growing up. Since the "Ti lascio una Canzone" show where they met 2 years ago.... they're no longer 14, 14 & 15.
Gianluca just turned 16 on Feb. 11, Ignazio also turned 16 last Oct. 4, and Piero will be 18 on June 24. They're trying to make them look sexier... and the only way to do that is to make them look older... they're not kids anymore... they're now young men...

I took Spanish in Junior High School, over 40 years ago! Needless to say, I didn't use it and forgot most of it. This really makes me want to learn the language even more. Beautiful voices!
