I bought this DVD - very good, and well worth the money! It's a shame the DVD doesn't include between Upminster and Pitsea via Basildon though. Because I lived in Laindon for 25 years, I still miss seeing the old Class 302's, 308's and 312's going up and down this line.
I've not traveled on this line, but something about it reminds me very much of the GEML between Liverpool St and Colchester, which used to be my regular route.
Is there a video of services out of Liverpool St? I'd love to get a different perspective of that route.
I couldn't agree with you more. I am glad we filmed while the trains were still in the original colours. The new white livery is to facilitate easy change of franchise when it is changed to another TOC.

InterCity Norwich take you INTO Liverpool Street on board a class 86. Filmed just at the end of BR and into Anglia days.
