This looks less child focused and im hoping it might deal more with actual problems and not stupitity issues that some of the previous series of the fiction have focused upon. Here's a glass to a proper sci-fi, one that should have been here long ago.

At first I also hated Atlantis, but I gave it a chance and with time I started to like it, by the 2nd season, I had to see it all, it becomes better with the 2nd season... At least what I think.

The entire point of this series is that it doesn't have characters from the other shows. They are essentially starting with a clean slate on this one. And after the mess that was Atlantis, I'm glad.

It sure looks darker but I hope that they won't copy BSG much. I mean, BSG was a great show but this is Stargate and humor and real alien/exploration adventure is a part of it. If they can balance the drama of BSG and things that made original SG1 great, we are in for a great show.

Also I hope it doesn't become the second Atlantis that started dark and became more and more an SG-1 wannabe failing...

And I hope we won't see the same old village and Canadian forests anymore...

if you freeze frame it at :25 the gate looks weird, like a mix of sga's gate (blue) and sg-1's gate (the symbols aren't lit)

It looks far more darker than the other sg series and has a element of cloverfield doomsday which is super. one thing the Doctor (Scottish Actor) doesnt look like he's part of the group lol saying that most of the people look like civilians which begs the question what the hell happened to earth if "these are the wrong people in the wrong place" Surely SGC wouldnt send amatures through the gate?.... *Ques up for gate travel*

Thanks for the upload! Tho, I'm still on the fence with this whole SGU thing... I'm no where near as excited as when Atlantis came out, I just don't see a premise here, no connection to the other series'... Ha, I forgot Robert Carlyle was not going to be military in this, and was wondering what the hell he was wearing! LOL Right now, he is the only reason I'm even remotely interested in giving the show a chance.

Anyways, that for sharing this for us that can't see it! =)
