I had double jaw surgery 4 weeks ago. I enjoyed your update since it was related to my current stage of healing. I was worried about the lower chin and lip numbness but hearing that others are the same is promising. Thanks!!

Hello Shea, I am happy to hear from you! Don't worry for the numbness, it takes time to recover, even though my last surgery was not a TMJ replacement but only a bilateral TMJ arthrotomy, a big part of my face was completely numb and I couldn't move my left eyebrow. It took some months for the nerves to fully recover and now it's ok fortunately. Take care, I continue to follow your journey to recovery, it's very informative, thank you so much!
Dear Shea. Excellent to hear from you. I think your channels (etc.) are invaluable for those of us who have to consider such procedures. (Yours eyes are looking particularly lucid and balanced, by the way.) I am sure that many will join me in praying that you have a continued hasty recovery--nice return of range of motion, return of good feeling and return to feeling more and more normal. All the Best. Sincerely,
You're gorgeous :)
