  • Hello Shea, I am happy to hear from you! Don't worry for the numbness, it takes time to recover, even though my last surgery was not a TMJ replacement but only a bilateral TMJ arthrotomy, a big part of my face was completely numb and I couldn't move my left eyebrow. It took some months for the nerves to fully recover and now it's ok fortunately. Take care, I continue to follow your journey to recovery, it's very informative, thank you so much!

  • Thank you for posting again! It is nice to see how well you are doing. Wishing you a very speedy recovery!

  • Dear Shea. Excellent to hear from you. I think your channels (etc.) are invaluable for those of us who have to consider such procedures. (Yours eyes are looking particularly lucid and balanced, by the way.) I am sure that many will join me in praying that you have a continued hasty recovery--nice return of range of motion, return of good feeling and return to feeling more and more normal. All the Best. Sincerely,

    Louie
