John Mayer is good on the git and all, but Gavin can out-sing him by about a million miles. And out perform him really. And hes more modest. John is a great artist as well however..
JM & GdG are both among my favorites. But consider Gavin as a better performer than John is (should´nt say sick) but I think that it is terrebly wrong. Gavin DeGraw is and will always be a very good singer/songwriter but John Mayer is ( in my oppinion) so much more of an artist. Just by the fact that he is one of the absolute best guitarists alive, and in a few years I wouldn´t be too surprised by hearing people say he´s the best of all time.John Mayer is and will always be a Legend.
@5H4V3D89 Gavin definitely has some talent, but to say he can out perform John tells me you havent watched many of John's live videos. Mayer is in a completely different league of musicianship that Gavin has yet to reach.
one of my favorite songs. gavin breeds new life into this classic lennon hit. your son always rocks house with his insane guitar. its really not easy doing all that

I've always loved Gavin he's one of the most natural soulful singers out there now. He puts so much emotion into this own song as well as covers.
