I have to disagree with you there. A sizable number of the democrats would be limp-wristed gays and/or have AIDS. A significant portion would also be vegetarians and be scrawny and "womanly". Something I've seen in New York and Massachusetts.
On who wears the most stylish and color-coordinated "outfits" and hairdos, I'd say yes, the liberals win hands down.

I can see your point--military experience helps, but it's a liability if you're getting up there in years (let's face it, none of us would want Sen. McCain backing us up in a brawl, the man can't raise his arms over his head).
Me, I'd take the lesbians, vegans, and non-whites over the hockey moms, geriatrics (vet or otherwise), and morbidly obese. And those really religous types--the kind who are certain the Lord will protect them through prayer--are a liability when a chair breaks their heads.

No, no, no, I wasn't referring to McCain, but I'd still prefer him covering my back than Obama anyday. Then again Obama has Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers (bombs) and most likely the Black Panther types (Bobby Rush) but, alas, they're unpredictable.
You can have the dykes, limpwrists, AIDS victims and blacks all you want, I don't see what their value would be in a brawl, except of course if your battle plan is using infected needles and drive-by shootings.

According to your logic, 98% of Taiwanese including you are "foreigners". Actually, more than 2/3 of non-Taiwanese in Taiwan come from the pre-1949 group--we make up the overwhelming majority of Chinese-speakers, not to mention most of the working class.
Unfortunately, that other 1/3 has most of the money and political offices. :( Well, life's not always fair.

Some 35,000 police have raided 7,500 kilns in Henan and Shanxi provinces in central China and rescued 468 people. Local officials said that 250 people had been arrested. They said the number of children forced to work in the kilns could rise to more than 1,000.

The Chinese Communist Party is officially atheist, so anything of a spiritual nature that is not under its direct control is discouraged, and often outlawed. A 1998 survey indicated 70-100 million praticed Falun Gong, far outnumbering party members. Jiang Zemin ordered the eradication of Falun Gong in July 1999.
