Maria has only reached one Slam quarterfinal since winning the Australian Open in '08, which was last year's French Open. Pretty surprising.

@kljMN2 A lot of it was because of vicious injury in 2008, and 2009 she was just coming back so it took a while for her to get back into the groove of things, and this year it was because of tough draws at the French, WImby and the US.
