A beautiful Stag, although having heard it lay up for three years, I'd be for doing a lot more than changing the coolant system and replacing a few gaskets - at the very least a full set of new fluids and filters, new plugs and check out the other ignition components.
Still, for an original stag in such good condition, £5,500 is a good buy - about right money I would say. If I bought it though, first thing I'd do is junk the modern black-on-white front plate for a silver-on-black one!
I woulda tore the cover off the top of the old frame and sold it for spares instead of toss it in the bin. Anyone can re-cover a vert top with some spare time.
