  • @1:50 Ed Sullivan does whatever the heck he wants.

  • This Linda actually can play! great show guys.

  • Bravo!

  • I was at this show and i LOVED it. My parents wouldn't let me go the to the real thing in 1976 - so it's cool I kinda got a second chance.i also LOVED seeing Linda there too. It really made it a Wings tribute. Wonderful night. I also remember one of the band bringing up the idea of having a Lennon tribute as well. Still waiting for it.

  • just amazing

  • PERFECTO

  • PAUL would be so proud!

  • @bttfnut89 No. in the 70's it was rickenbacher for any true PM fan.

  • i love the bass line, because it was probably the first disco bass lin, which in turn inspired disco music, i'm not a fan of disco, but it's good to know where it came from

  • Okay, so since everything else about this is amazing, here's my one nerd comment: Compare this with the 1976 Wings live version, and the tone of the bass here is much more subdued. The reason why? The pickup selector on Ardy's Rick' is set to the 'middle' position (both pickups) instead of the 'bridge' position which would've given it that real punchy high-end "bite" that the original tune has. Surprised he ignored that. But the live horns make up for it!

  • very good

  • @kvnlmn growlyman is the producer/sound engineer for The Fab Four (which is the same group as WIngsband plus 1 member to be "Linda")

  • I have to say you guys are fantastic! Please consider performing more of Wings awesome rockers like... The Mess Hi Hi Hi Girlschool I've Had Enough Getting Closer Cafe On The Left Bank Big Barn Bed Old Siam Sir Best Friend Beware My Love I wish McCartney himself would do these songs, but you guys would do a great job as well, really please consider performing these songs. Would be an absolute treat for all McCartney and your fans!
  • q buenos Videos..Saludos Dsd Lima-PErU

  • @bttfnut89 Paul didn't use the Hofner in the 70's or most of the 80's. He didn't pull it back out until the "Flowers in the Dirt" album and tour, so using it for this time period wouldn't be authentic

  • What an amazing horn section

Jeff Jorgenson, Frank Fontaine, Mike McGuffey, Wendell Kelly

  • Espurio, Falso, no eres Paul McCartney, ni los Wins....los Wings Son el payaso Bozo Malacon

  • @bttfnut89 I think you can see it on the set of instruments at around 2:53.

  • @DanIsAsian yep youre right. its the second one from the left. good eye

  • Cool! He's even a southpaw like the great one! That REALLY looks and sounds like Linda too!! Great job Wingsband

  • Actually, Ardy is a righty. Incredibly, he taught himself how to play the bass left-handed. Not just play the bass, but play well enough to cover some of the best bass lines in pop music.

  • Cool, can't even imagine learning to play left handed to look even more like Paul, Thanks for the info

  • @NewShimmer That's amazing he'd do that. Sign of a true McCartney and Beatles fan.

  • This sounds great. I want a show in Va.

  • this is literally EXACTLY the same, other than the singing. thats all, even the bass! its crazy! try audio swapping in pauls voice just to see how accuratre it would be

  • The Rickenbacker 4001c64s bass is period-correct for this song. Look at the 1976 Rockshow tour video for reference.

  • @growlyman very true and extra props to you for reshaping the upper horn just like Paul himself did to his

    very good attention to detail

but theres no surprise there ..this band sounds and LOOKS like Wings!!

  • Is this PaulMc or PaulMc cover??

  • @RubemRM enitrely performed live by The Fab Four (AKA Wingsband)- a tribute band.

see wwwDOTthefabfourDOTcom for info and videos

  • your McCartney Stage Outfit looks great, is it self-made?

  • Wingsband is actually The Fab Four featuring Ardy plus Christine Rosander as Linda.

  • man the Linda is awesome

    as well as the Paul!!

  • BEST WINGS TRIBUTE BAND EVER

  • Nice job!! Paul doesn't do this one anymore...even while Linda while still alive. I thought it was one of his biggest Wings hits.

  • for some reason I always liked this song. Never was an "eh" but a "I'm damn happy now for some reason!"

  • Yea Ardy and Co!
