i got several questions for the PC version, do u do shift + right click for a special move? i know u can do a takedown by C + right click. Also, can u replay levels in Batman Arkham Asylum or is it not about levels just progress or something? o_0 Lol. i need help

I think it's just about progressing. You can go backwards to other places to do things like the Riddler's stuff later if you like. There are some upgrades that might use shift + right click, but I haven't unlocked them all yet, so dunno on that.

the extra phyics are from nvidias physx

the came came out later due to the wide pc performance range, and, maybe, partially because of physx that had to be included.

Dependent on anti aliasing and resolution settings. And you dont have 6gigs on a 32bits Windows.

I have similar system, but a gtx280 and I got 20fps on physx full when the tiles broke when you glide kick that Dalsim guy. My resolution though is 1920x1200.

Buy a new graphics card, what kind of cpu is it? Buy a new cpu as well. The GeForce 8400 doesn't do justice, it may be able to render the graphics but it would help to have a better one. Your cpu, despite running at a 2.8ghz, might not be able to run well on full load.

I'm using a Pentium D 2.8ghz, 3GB ram and a GeForce 9600GT, and it still actually runs kinda slow as well. Graphics are great but it could be better, it needs at least a nice cpu to run nicely.

PhysX is for particles, special effects, breakeable objets, dinamic objets, etc, is not a physics base program like havok. It haves very complex and dedicated physics on the enviroment. PhysX its great, but nothing cheaper through.

so far the game looks rather good, and it runs pretty good for having such gpu stressing physx (which of course you can always turn off), i'm running the demo at 1280x720 everything on very high with my geforce 9500gt gddr3 at about 30 fps, without physx at 1600x900 at constant 45 fps

it will be fine, even with physx. I just bought a new gts 250 1gb and i used to have a 9800gt 512mb and it was great so it will run it well. Maybe not at the highest resolution tho.

At the moment no. Or yes, in this game you can use PhysX with any car of 8000 series and superior. But as someone said before if you don't have at leass a GTX 260 you can't get decent frame rates with PhysX enabled. I think thats the main reason why the game was delayed in the PC version. I really hope so....

well physx gives it more realism in the game. Like when for instance look at the paper on the floor, it moves when you move past it and, when you throw baterangs at the wall it breaks off. Normal nothing happens really, i recommend though not to use phsyx if your computer is not a gaming computer. Physx drops the games fps. Also if you have a console; It does not have phsyx

PhysX Is a Physics program Owned BY Nvidia. and Runs on the GPU. Most people tend to buy a 9800GT becaus they are cheap and do the Physics calculations perfectly.

PhysX can Run on a CPU but it is not very efficient.

what Console's use is Havok for there Physics 99% of the time and it works extremely well. better than PhysX it seems

you don't know what physX is do you? it's ageia (nvidia nowadays) physX not PHYSICS. all the papers you see flying around, the steam and smoke that moves around when you walk, the destruction when you land on the floor from above, the destruction on walls, bouncing sparks, tearable cloth is only on PC using an nvidia card and enabling physX

The early bits have only one way to do them really, but the last section with the big room is great for trying out different methods.
