I had a 2005 Tribon which does look like a F430. Engine does sound good. But, except for that, transmition problems, bad electronics,and even worse custumor service.
I believe this model will bring Hyundai another legal issue from Mercedez.

A Lexus or Acura with 120,000 miles will run quieter and smoother than a BMW or Mercedes with the equivalent mileage.

The reason I gave a 4 star rating is because of the grill of the US release, handle that looks like a mid-class handle instead of a luxurious one, and the emblem. They should have used the emblem of the handle seen on the spyshots.
The only reason I think they are not putting the new emblem on this car for U.S version is because of Brand Image. In Korea, Hyundai is well known so they could go with the new Genesis badge. However, in U.S. Hyundai is trying to build upon their name.

Lexus has been trying for more than 15 years to be BMW, and they still can't get it right (e.g. their new "almost M3" the ISF). It's downright hilarious to see Hyundai launch their first RWD car and already try the "see, we're as good as BMW" card. It reeks of desperation.

has all the features of a 5 series as well..

I'm not a hyundai fan, but this is pretty descent car. I think they are going to steal a lot of buyers from toyota Avalon and other american segment from low $30,000. It surely is not the mustang engine, i have no idea why you would assume such. Hyundai developed the tau v8 completely in-house, DOHC V8 pushing 375hp, the GT v8 in the mustang is pushrod pushing 300hp, just because it has the same displacement doesn't mean its the same engine, research before you type.
btw, 380 pferdestarke (PS) is equal to 375hp

Ive personally seen Hyundai cars have problems too early in their lifespan.Hyundai Excel, Hyundai Accent aka Accident etc.Its a cheap car for a reason. Seriously, how special is a high-end RWD V8 sport sedan? Mercedes, BMW, and even Lexus have been doing that for years. Hyundai just figured out how.

They still have a long way to go b4 making anything comparable to quality and reliable for the price like a Honda. Now they want to make a luxury vehicle for cheap and step up into a market where the 3series rules? Not gonna happen.

The reason I gave a 4 star rating is because of the grill of the US release, handle that looks like a mid-class handle instead of a luxurious one, and the emblem. They should have used the emblem of the handle seen on the spyshots.

The only reason I think they are not putting the new emblem on this car for U.S version is because of Brand Image. In Korea, Hyundai is well known so they could go with the new Genesis badge. However, in U.S. Hyundai is trying to build upon their name.
