  • It's so much harder to get into dropping from a handstand. Sometimes it's nice to drop as far into splits as you can, then press UP into the hold, however in doing this I usually end up more vertical than I would like. Best for me at the moment is to do a tuck planche and open out into the straddle. I have to stretch my groin area lots before this. Your splits are much better than mine so that will help. Also i like to have my middle finger pointing at 11 oclock. 12 O clock makes it harder4me

  • cool!

  • nice man. All I see is the tuck planche and you open your legs from there. Personaly I prefer to do it on the little free weights, like parallel bars, because it hurts my wrists to do it directly on the floor.

  • uuh i hate parallel bars :)

  • Looking good buddy! Forms top notch :D

Just a matter of endurance now.

I was the same, I didn't like the tucked very much...holding the advanced tuck didn't feel comfortable for me so I just didn't do it at all.

Tips..umm do some shoulder building push ups!! Pseudo planche ones, wide ones, elbow ones (think Dan demonstrates these on his push up video) They work a treat!! :D

  • I am already doing some pseudo planche ones... but i never thought about wide ones or elbow ones. I will try, thanks :-)

  • nice work MASe

train on Back Lever and Front Lever too it help you

  • Thank you, never thought about that :-)

  • Pretty good attempt, though you should practice the advanced tucked planche focusing on level hips, it is much more benificial for your progression then attempting to lower down into a harder progression that you can't control YET. Other then that, good to see you releasing videos still Mase, been a big inspiration over the past year or so for me.

  • God damn, that was pretty fast! I am already practising the adcanced tucked planche, but just to improve my straddle planche... i don't like the tucked very much :-D

Thank for your support, im glad to hear that I helped you too so far.

  • yeah entirely agree with you.
