OMFG I always got up to to River City High school and got stuck, I never knew you could go inside the high school... I would spend countless hours back gracking trying to figure out why I hadn't beat the game or where the hell to go next. LMAO never knew about power ups either...

I remember losing a friend because he told me that you really can learn the cyclone spin kick and there's a shop that's harder to find than merlin's shop and that the name of the shop was the Black Market. And told me you can also buy Ivan's Headbutt and Tex's Spinning pipe assault. I was like "Wow! I'm not going to stop playing until I find that shop!!!" As naive as i was, I believed him... : (...and after many hours of frustration... I lost a worthless friend.

Where did they get the rights to play the Double Dragon theme when you fight the Dragon Twins? Its obviously a Double Dragon spoof, but did they reserve the rights or did it even matter then or were they under the same company? If someone could clarify this for me, I would appreciate it.

Technos Japan Corp. were the guys behind the Double Dragon franchise I believe. You can read about them on wiki. Technos Japan Corp. is no more tho, but I guess they had the rights to do that back then. Hehehe. :)

Then me and my bro would stand one on each side with the twins in the middle... and yup! smack em back and forth til they died tho it took a while! ^^ they would escape once in a while and we had to run and try to get them back together! lol

Me personally, I liked Zeus' Wand, Grand Slam and Javelin Man over Stone Hands, Dragon Feet, Acrocircus, Texas Boots and Fatal Steps.

The best way to defeat Randy & Andy is to Grand Slam them when you have a chain because of the length of the chain.

awesome dood when i fight the twins. I use the lead pipe and with grand slam, i make sure im in a good position before I attack. Then i just unload with the pipe and keep attacking and dont give them the time of day when they get up. Great walk through i love this game.

Me personally, I like to use a chain when I have Grand Slam, because it's longer and I get to hit my enemies from a distance.

Yep, it is. One of this company's first NES hits was Double Dragon. They tend to reuse character designs and music in many of their other games, such as Super Dodge Ball.
