  • Pretty cool invention. However, the video is 10 minutes long and it makes little progress, kinda boring.

  • as u can see, it is a parallel mechanism, and the main bottle neck is motion control.

    The video is so old; it was the first real test. after this test we worked for more than 6 month to get a better speed. At the end we could reach to the speed of 2 times more than this. All the rights of final robot are reserved for a company and I can not put those videos on the web.anyway, after 3 years we r working on another design and I hope to have an almost ideal industrial pole climbing robot very soon.
