With floods snakes will be looking for caves if any are not flooded, along with bears, skunks, vultures, cougars, bobcats, and anything else imaginable. They'll sneak in at night when you are trying to sleep and get you one by one. Some of the snakes in the ozarks are big enough to eat little children and your pets. You know large groups of armed people living in a cave who dislike the gov will come to the attention of the gov even if it doesn't flood. Conservation land is gov land. Think Waco.
