fuck fuck fuck this band should be fucking alive fuck......they were getting mature......but i realize that the main reason was the performers they cghanged too much....the band as basically the singer
I've never seen a live video (on youtube or anywhere else) about songs from Magnetic North, so thanks a lot for this upload!:]Swamp Kittens is a great song and Magnetic North is one of my favourite records.Don't you have other videos about this show?
I also saw em on the last tour. Cleveland 09-11-2007. 20 people there. Sad to see my favorite band, fall apart at the end. Their set was awesome! (+ it was recorded by a crew in the back, video and audio but I've never found a leak of it) No more "end of an era" and those songs in their set but it was cool to hear the new songs live. Solid.
Saw em 8-9 times live & they were very moving with their wall of sound.
Would kill to see em come back again. Hopefully something will come of "Contrails".
whoever posted/took this video has to give me a clear answer. is that Tim of Underoath the right guitar(facing the screen)? if yes, hahaha. didn't know they're friends.
hopesfall was an amazing band, and yeah the last line up was pretty bad but to be honest I enjoy listening to magnetic north the most out of any hopesfall albums.
idk it just sounds better structured and I absolutely love this song it's my favorite.
Since late 2007, there have been random stories about him carrying Hopesfall on, changing the band name, finishing unreleased songs, and so on. Still not completely sure.
These were basically 4 guys Jay found off the street.
After they recorded Magnetic North, the entire band quit(the same group who did A-Types and MN) and Jay had to find a enw band basically. These guys only knew how to play most of MN, couple tracks on A-Types, and only the Bending from TSY....Hilariously bad.
It's very true. Jay hired these guys to tour the new Hopesfall record but it didn't last long. I saw them play a few songs from Magnetic North in Atlanta right before they broke up for good. They sucked really bad, Jay was piss drunk and acted like he didn't really care. This isn't how I want to remember Hopesfall.
oh my gawd. beautiful.

Dudes. 4:11 is utterly epic. The camera shaking makes it even better when Jay goes all out. Awesome.
