HAHAHA! I love it! How much this reminds me of Dolly.. up the street we often went for 1$ a slice pizza Mondays.. a lot of those slices didn't make it long with Dolly around. Multiple Mondays it was always the same story. My mom went to the bathroom, pizza just sitting there, silence, she comes back, DAMN IT I hear. =D I guess you can figure out what went down! She's a sneaky one! And she has just the expression of Ruffles, like oh hello there! =) Hahaha! =D
A burger a day does not keep a basset on the bed away. :)

What unsportmanlike conduct could Ruffie commit? Ruffie is a Basset's Basset, he knows that he has to set an example.
By the way, is this the famous California King that both Roscoe and Ruffie enjoy lounging on?
I think Ruffie is pre-occupied, something may be worrying him. Do you have enough treats in the house? What about Beer?
