@halyie She did not like the idea of childbirth since the kings only child and hire had died in child birth. So it's not like she asked to have that many children it just happened. Her and Albert must have had a pretty good love life.
Can someone explain me why she was the first person named Victoria? I mean did the name not exist in English? it's always existed in french and spanish, it would be the same word for Victory.
@LaSerpentaCanta Until the Hanoverian's came to England German names, with a few exceptions like Edward and George, (though these were still not that common) had just been out of regular use since the the dark ages simply because in the mean time our monarchs had been French (of one sort or another) Scottish, Welsh and English of French decent but not German its ironic really seeing as we were all spawned by Germans in the first place.
@LaSerpentaCanta Yes it has always exited in German and there were princesses named Victoria before her but she was the first to popularize the name in England by becoming queen.
Why do all these women (the ones talking) have speech impediments? Are they related to royalty?

@andreasegde I hope you realize that the so called "speech impediments" are called ascents.

@tribetng you mean the name Victoria exists in the German language? Because her mother was named Victoire.

I like this, it's very informative. I wish the host would quit swinging her hands up and down though!
