  • i needs that

  • What I don't get is why they can an HP ink cartridge a printhead? And why would they use HP ink to begin with?

  • PUUUUUUKE RAAINBOOOOOOWS

  • I can't imagine why this isn't bigger news.

  • I can already see this exact "video" being on one of those throw back to the "00's" TV shows in ten years, "lol"

  • What material is the final product made out of?

  • 1. Jesus Christ we have to keep the ink for regular printers locked up in stores cause it's expensive and people steal it...just imagine.

    2. I'm so making a Zack Ryder figure...WOO WOO WOO...YKI!!!

  • Now we can be lazy not to make engines :P

  • how much?

  • mother of god...

  • the 1st time i heard about this tech, they were going to use it for organs

now they are using it for drones

    figures

  • in 5 to 10 years we will look at this commercial and say "holy crap! i cant believe it used to look like that!"

  • @dangdiggidydog No... in 5 to 10 years we wont even have 3D printers...

3D Printers will have humans! :P

  • I saw them make a spanner wrench that really worked and a full size motorcycle but you couldn't ride it because it wasn't strong enough. Of course it also wouldn't have a working engine would it? They can make a human head model that is creepy to see. Incredible what they can do!

  • What about things with screws and bolts? If you scan something, how does it know that there is a literal screw and all the inner components? Or does something that complex have to be created with the software?

  • It would be a quick and accurate way to make moulds

  • haha now we don´t need that shit they ''made in china''

  • cost?

  • Have that printer print me a 3D printer, that way, it'll be much cheaper!

  • MMUUSSTTT HHHAAAAVVVVEEEE

  • i find that hard to believe how can it print everything ? and would the printed object function as the original ?

  • @HAYSQ i've looked this up a for awhile now and it can print anything that it has sustainable materials for and space in side the chamber. all of the objects that come out can function normally as long as it isn't meant to be used for electrical purposes or meant to be consumed. so in shorter terms. yes it can print anything and it can print objects with a great span of purposes. hope this helped

  • This might be the coolest thing I have ever seen invented in my lifetime!

  • @SukaStyle You aint seen nothing yet

  • @ninelivecat OH Goody!

  • only about $4000 - $7000. bargain.

  • Fantastic invention. How much do these things cost?

  • 3d paper for 3d printer? uhm...

  • i bet the terrorists want one LOL!

  • this is cool. but as soon as people start using the product every scientist in the worldis going to be whining about its environmental consequence which they were unaware of like the plastic dilemma.

  • under 4 hours LOOOOOL xD

  • I am going to expand my LEGO collection LOL LOL

  • This will kill old fashioned keys :(

  • OMGOMGOMGOMG

  • is there a mini portable version of this printer one with in witch I can put in my mustang arm rest :P. Hehehe I'm thinking about that one episode of Knight Rider where kitt clones a car key from a Ferrari so that they could steel the car. Lol. If there is one let me know :P

  • Download Autodesk 123D (free software) build your own model and follow the links to have the 3D print model posted back to you

  • What happens to the waste?

  • thats fricking awesome.

  • If we have this, just think what the secret space program has!

  • I use one of these machines daily, as well as a dimension FDM machine. ZCorp prints in plaster (that's why you have to coat it after) and that will never be as practical as printing in ABS plastic. At least not for engineering applications.

  • 1:07 Convenience of a house hold printer my ash, That things the size of a Fridgerator!xD

  • I have one in my high school cadd class it's awesome

  • in some 3de printers, you can determine wich material to use for 3d printing, like plastic, allaminnium cement, etc,,, even your shit. no joke!!!

anyway it must,ve be extreamly complex to develope 3d printing technology and then making it affordeble for consummers, just amezing.

  • wow.this is amazing. but wait what is the models made off?

  • @deanmullen10 plaster.

  • LEGO COMPANY IS DEAD HAHA

  • In three-five years, this will be a toy for kids to play with where you "Make Your Own Toys." Mark my words.

  • It cost $ 31000

AND SHE SAY ITS CHEAP WTF !!!

  • lol. God damn if i had one of these i would have aced all of my projects in school.

  • @blo0magic I feel ya man... but too late for me since im done... sucks to be born early...

  • we all saw this gizmo in jurassic park 3, remember they used it to replicate the nasal cavity of a velociraptor which would go onto save their lives later in the movie!

  • next up is the replicator. computer, earl grey, hot.

  • Pause 0:32 REVERSED UBUNTU LOGO

  • Now, here's the real question... How much does it cost to buy/lease this thing, and how much are the colour plastic cartridges, and and bulk powder buckets.

Something tells me this device requires very deep pockets, indeed.

  • I think that is awesome technology these days they are just getting better and better

  • Awesome

  • Can you print a 3d printer?

  • @cory8u you certainly can but you have to compile the components yourself i think.

  • All that technology and the display screen is black&white with a freakin knob??! WTF!!!!

  • @MetalKing010 I'm more appalled by the fact that you have to reach your hands in to blow the residual powder away. Ah, how fascinating it is to witness the birth of a technology!

  • I'm so glad I'm alive in this time. Born in 1990, I've already seen some astounding leaps forward and it just gets better, very exciting.

  • Imagine the print queue at a large architectural firm

  • i want one :D

  • i want one D

  • คิดได้ไงว้ะ ชอบบบบๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆ มาก

  • I want to print my 3D creature sculptures but it's too expensive. :(

  • It can do almost everything ...

  • I'm going to ask Santa for one for Christmas

  • Amazing,Now hopefully in the Future We Can have this at our Very own Homes AND it Would be Capable of "Printing" Objects With: Metal,Lead and Stainless Steel.

So i Can create a (Working?) Replica Gun From Crysis XD

  • could you print a model gun for a movie prop

  • Affordable price eh? $17,252.92 is cheap for a printer O_o

  • @X15Studios g on ebay and buy one fo$9,000

  • This is amazing!

  • Death rates would increase drastically if this thing gets better... Imagine printing a genuine gun at home, or even a machinge gun

  • @alexandre789 actually, that would be possible.. if its a strong model, you could print each part and put it together

  • next leap in computer technology is that everybody has one at home.

    Hewlett packard >> wake up i want a 3D deksjet 9000 for $50 :)

  • i dont even wanna think about the day when these things can print in ANY material

  • That day would be awesome!

  • Have it print a 3D Printer... Wait no, have it print a 3D Printer printing a 3D Printer

  • @Argon014

technical singularity comes sooner than we all expect

  • @Argon014 Printers printing printers? How perverse!

  • @Argon014 inception much but the problem with that is that it cant print electrical circuits... it is a sort of plastic material

  • @Argon014 Printception

  • @Argon014 there is a 3d print machine that can print 50% of its own parts!

  • Half Price Prototypes uses this exact same 3d printer.

  • i rember seeing this on discovery channel "future world" maybe a few years ago, great to see somthing which can actually be purchased. I would love one haha.

  • back when me and my friends were young we used to joke about printing out hardware from the computer after buying things online. Now this is reality.

  • this machine isn't much more complicated than a regular ink-jet printer.

It's just the lack of competition and maybe patents on materials that's keeping the price high for now.

In fact, if it were mass produced it would more more expensive for being bulky than for any other reason. These things could be 3-5k I bet.

  • I just jizzed my pants. I have no idea what I need this for, but I need it. Now.

  • I totally would buy that if I had the money.. :(

  • cool although 3d printers have been around for over 20 years (since the mid 80s). Its the first time I've seen the model in color although probably has a higher cost. Hopefully the color is only on the surface. Be cool to get one for home when they are < $250 ... that would be a break through!

  • omfg,this is so great!!!

  • Cool way to make toys for kids lol.

  • no mames!!

  • I love the future... especially when it's already here!

  • You could print off humans if they made a big one!

  • that is so fucking cool. . .

  • these machines are obsolete, there are 3d printers now that can make parts from both strong plastic (like ABS) and metal.

Ive used these Z-Printers at my college, there impressive, but other 3d printers (as mentioned) can make ready to use parts, not just weak prototypes.

  • "they're" or "they are", not "there". Someone in college should know that.

  • ahh, the spelling argument, everyone makes spelling mistakes moron.

only an idiot needs to pick on something completely unrelated to the subject because they dont have an argument to begin with.

  • @wolfyys

It's not really an argument, since I am neither oposing or agreeing to anything you wrote.

I just noticed the "there" and that annoys me.

  • for people that want an affordable and good 3d-printer, check out RepRap, it's an open-source project

  • low price of £ 33,970... yeah

  • Or about $530 if you build your own. God bless cut-throat Capitalism, eh?

  • You're not going to build a machine that's as nice as that for $530.

  • Only an idiot goes after a tool for aesthetics.

  • Nice has nothing to do with aesthetics and everything to do with the quality of the product you produce using the tool.

  • i think everyone wants

but it probably costs a small fortune

  • I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • but can it print my homework.....

  • small footprint ?

  • the website is blank.

  • looks like its working now :)

  • It's not. The machine is made in the USA.

  • Comment removed

  • if it's made in England, why is she saying 'z' (ZED Eng[UK]) as 'zee' (Eng[US])?

  • It´s very goog for medical and architecture, but to engineers jobs, still limitaded once it´s complicate to have a funcional prototype. In this way, is better SLS or FDM tecnology, but the colors is a limitation.

Now there is too the Object Amazing Machines - Polyjet.

  • If only I could get a reproduction of Tru Blood Bottles made. 3D program into something I could touch but I will have to do it the hard way.

  • makes life a little bit easeir, eh

  • i would print me a cookie... want someone cookies??

  • this thing is probably like $50,000.

  • I'd say a $100,000

  • I saw it somewhere that it says: Retail price: 32976 or something like that. It didn't say that it's in USD or EUR or something, but I think it's USD.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA..............perv........nonetheless i would do it

  • It is not paper it is powder that is flat it just look like paper, and the color is the color on the outside of the finished product

  • actually the color isn't on the outside, it's solid color, so you could cut it in half and the color goes throughout

  • it's only.040 -070" deep

  • Amazing! is it true?

  • yap, its the future in my opinion

  • i want one !

  • me too

  • LOL

  • not for guys tho.

  • Thats amazing! It is so useful for companies that doesn't want to (or are to lazy) to make their prototypes!!

  • i have seen some promo footage from germany showing that they use a form of plaster (the white powder) there are a bunch of shops in germany that you can send rough models to and they will print for you after reworking the file to make it print cleanly

  • yes, its cross-sectional layering of 3D model.

  • it's not paper, it's the powder that supports the structure as it is printed. notice them clearing it away after the print is complete? no paper!

  • is there a place that prints in for you? like shops were you can print sheets of paper? Please reply asap if you know. thanks

  • WOW! Awesome! Just awesome!

  • is this real

  • I wasn't sure if she was joking at the start!

That's amazing, how does it make it? Why was it printing paper on paper at 1:55 onwards?

  • i think its some kind of powder that they print on to make the 3d model. im not shure though

  • how much in materials does it cost to make an average model?

  • это конец )

  • wow sweet

  • i have no interest in printing, but the way this woman markets it makes me want to buy it.

  • This printer is great I wish to have one but I don't like the company logo.

  • wow, that is amazing

  • this is like a british version of how stuff's made

  • damn imagine printing out your own toys :D

  • can it make a cherry 2000?

  • Then you make a printer that makes a 3-D model that you can touch ;)

  • Why do I get the feeling that in 20 years we'll all be making fun of this video?

  • hehe, I thought exactly the same thing

  • Exponential progression in technology, gentlemen.

Start booking your flights to Mars now, seriously. lol

  • @AckbarBoomhauer same that happened to the xerox coping tecnology!

  • @AckbarBoomhauer yeah! I was thinking just the same thing! hahah

  • is the best printer from 3d ones

  • the printer is $ 46,330, but the regular cartage is $435

  • how can i make 3d date file?

  • All hail the Singularity~

  • I have one of these printers (Z450) at my office. So i am able to print models :) Contact me for more info. I'm located in Bulgaria.

  • cheapest model even less: $24000

  • Niesamowite!

  • how much?

  • about 40000$ i've heard

  • I don't believe it!

  • wtf

  • my thoughts excactly

  • LOOOL !!!11one

  • yay i love it, awesome, incredible! i hope that everyone will be able to buy something like this

  • Pretty sweet contraption, though with a level of convenience that matches the SodaStream machine..

  • Drooooooooool...

As an amateur 3D modeler, I can say that this would be quite useful for me :)

  • holy allah!!! llooll

  • Kriminalde kullanılan bir sistem bu ama süper ve dehşet ötesi teknolojide son nokta.

  • If I had the cash I'd have 3. So awesomely awesome :D

  • My god. I want one of those SOOOOOO bad.

  • holy shhh
