the e28 non turbo i think has 85hp. but modifide one is nice .about now i'm trying to buy a 524td. dio the modifide one do less diesel?? how mutch it takes ??
i wondering for the modified one the mcanical injection has a pressure sensor? if ies the injection setteing can work with high efficienty at low boost? like 0.1- 0.2 ? i meen the injection is now set for a higher flow of diesel always or only in high boost? can the car still get 8 l of diesel /100km in city if not raced with?

Awesome video, 5 stars! Those engine bays are the cleanest I've ever seen in a BMW E28. You sure have a nice collection of original BMW's. The engine sounds were really impressive!
Excellent video, nice to see and hear BMW diesels in clarity, rather than in pixellated phone camera videos with crappy euro-pop masking the noise! Its a shame that here in Great Britain we did not get the 524 td. One wonders how difficult (or indeed financially viable) it would be to install the diesel engine and gearbox in, say an E28 with a good body but broken drivetrain
Nice vid. Today we have started up a 524 td after it has been parked for 6 years (!) and it has started flawlessly at 2nd attempt. Owner wants to send it to the scrapyard but it sounded so nicely that I'm thinking about keeping it and use it as a everyday car.
hey ! I have e34 524td and I have to say it's preety weak in power ....i'm mean you can drive well if it's cold outside....I'm planning to mount an intercooler in it ...could you be so kind and tell me how did you mout it in your engine?
Turbodiesel and manual don't go very well together, it dose not provide constant torque... Nice collection of BMW diesel, i would love to own one :D but i have a MB 300SD instead!!!!
