How in the hell did Ace Freehley play a two note guitar solo that ended up being one of the most intense things I have ever heard....it really is fucking unbelievable...and this is coming from a guy that can play anything!
Kiss Alive was Recored in Detroit Rock City at The Cobo Hall in 1975 but Kiss went into the sudio and redubed the vocals and guitars and every thing else on this album technicality so it's not a live album but recored in Detroit. Alot of bands recoreded live albums in detroit like J. geils band bob seger and many more in the 1970's
My first concert was Kiss and Cheap Trick at the LA Forum in 1977. That's where the Alive II album was recorded. It was a 3 day event, I was there on day 2, I still have the attendance button that said " I was there" of course the "S" was in runic fashion! The original Alive and Frampton's Come Alive would be my desert island must haves. It's good to be old (50)
Where was this recorded for the album? And PLEASE dont tell me Cobo Hall, Detroiot Michigan - thats a farce - KISS Alive was a compilation of various KISS shows all grouped onto one album!

This song is fun to play on guitar. Especially if you have a Flying V.

@evilunixuser1 either Cobo Hall or Davenport Iowa; it is not one of the tracks recorded at Wildwood NJ or Cleveland.

I don't usually like "live" albums, but KISS Alive and Alive II are the best in my opinion.
