currently engaged in a project envolving pepacura and a 3ds models i got..

there are several pieces to an armor..

i am changing the scale of that to make a cosplay-able thing using a scale i found by the character..

but!

i see slight variations between pieces..

i press "unfold" and then go to change scale.

some pieces are at default 1.4, and some 0.6.

its models from a rip of a game..

could my armor be at different scales so it wouldnt fit together perhaps?

For any mac users that are trying to open those files you could try using darwine. It allows you to open windows programs on macs straight from the mac OS. You could also try bootcamp if darwine doesn't work.

now all games have polygon models wich is models with squares or angles..

All 3D models are based off flat polygons, the only reason modern ones LOOK completely round is that current computers are powerful enough to render millions of this flat planes at once. So when viewed from farther away they give the near perfect illusion of being rounded.
