@persona2489: I agree, after seeing Batman: Gotham Knight, Halo Legends, and that upcoming Wolverine and Iron Man anime. This really need a anime, and same thing for Warrior Nun Areala. Since Areala seem to inspire Hellsing, Trinity Blood, and Chrono Crusade.

Yeah but really its making fun of Japanese Cliches and Archie comics. Ben Dunn makes it actually funny and isnt a half bad manga-ka although you cant tell that by this video.

I also grew up on these comics as well as Mai the Psychic Girl, Ranma 1/2, Appleseed, Dominion Tank Police, and Dirty Pair.

Classic fun.

There probably are but it's been so many years it's hard to remember it all. Plus where I lived at the time It was very very hard to find and expensive as imports. 30$ for a two episode VHS was usual price here.

I actually plan on Making a Ninja High School review on YouTube once I get a digital camera. I LIKE Ninja High School, but I don't like it THAT much. Ben Dunn has made a few severe mistakes that made me like the series less.

In my opinion, Fred Perry and Ben Dunn are THE two best artist/writers in the comic industry. Even in B&W their stuff is better than anything Marvel or DC has in color.

You're obviously a fan, but can you try to be at least a little more objective. I would hardly call Fred's stuff the best in the industry. I love his style just as much as you do I'm sure, but even I understand thats its just a matter of preference and not actually skill that goes into whats more appealing to certain demographics. I mean if you had to talk style I'd place a handful of American and Korean/Japanese artist over Fred.

Interesting. NHS began as one of the funniest and best written comics on the market back in the late 1980s. Too bad Ben Dunn kept abandoning NHS, and then returned once more only to try a rapid-fire "finish/finale" for the series that felt more rushed than the Indy 500.
