Japan has a much smaller chance or cause for racism against country like China or Korea or South East Asia tha Germans would have for Muslims and Blacks. Especially when Korean, Chinese and Japanese modern day culture are becoming much more alike than it was 50 or 100 years ago.
@wangxi595, actually 侵略中国 is the worst choice, even militarily. It commited way too much Japanese resources on land battle which didnt do much to protect Japan from superior soviet power. And it weakened the Navy which couldnt get enough resources to fight against the US.
@wangxi595, I totally agree with you. Had the Japanese been smart, and less arrogent, they would have see that USSR is much too strong to be held lightly. They would have never invaded Manchuria, they would have been very friendly to the KMT government, Japan could have just used trade to obtain the natural resources from China and push China to stand against the Soviets. At the same time it could have doubled its export and economy by simply exchanging natural resources with product.
@arielhe, nah, 侵华战争 is not much of a problem. Just like Pearl Harbour and WW2 didnt become a huge problem between US and Japan. The problem is that Japan relies too much on the US, and thus it would have to behave in a way that would benefit American interest. This is why Japan is dangerous to China even today.

日本的军国主义在当时也是没有选择的。 日本土地小， 缺乏自然资源但是是亚洲最早高度工业化的国家。 种种历史原因，日本只有向外发展与扩张才能生存与发展。

@wangxi595 我不知道您是在和谁争论，我现在人在德国，也有一些体会。我只想说，教育和舆论真的很重要，如果一个民族每一个人从小被灌输军国主义，纳粹主义的话，那么这个国家肯定会走上侵略他国的道路，当年二战的德日就是这样。但是日本和德国现在这样的教育，我相信历史不会重演
