I think the reason he skates the way he does is because he had to deal with some gnarly injuries in the past ( i know he popped his knee like 2 times in a couple months) and he skates so aggresive because he has te energy and determination to stay on top.maybe thats also why he lands some tricks so sketchy, he didn't skate for 10 years straight like most pros..
