  • DuDe!!! Nice work in line twists :)

  • Holy balls dude. Great recovery

  • You get a COOL award. No panic just correct the fault !

  • Excellent save! Way to keep up the fight

  • You were literally inches from death multiple times

  • Well, not many live to tell their story the way you did...

  • Brilliant recovery!!!

  • You Sir are one lucky bastard! At 1:16 I just thought "oh noo!!"

  • holy shit.... 1:16 i thought you were gonna be gone.... Ive heard a number of stories about inflation failure on the early Xbirds. Glad youre alive man. Not everyone gets a seconds chance like that.. Wish you the best

  • Yooooooo man good on ya! I shitted me self for a second AND when you got near the face of the mountain afetr you pulled. cool on ya man. Happy you're still breathing and it's all right!

    Cheers Bro.

  • Fuck that looks scary. Why did the lines twist?

  • @cainlocc1 I could have one chance no have no twist, and I will prefer! But I've pulled on my back and on the other hand at bottom of the cliff there is a gorge where wind was blowing (ventury acceleration) so my canopy was caught by this wind which was making a vortex from the gorge to the wall... normally in with a bASE canopy, twist stop when it full opened, but here the twist didn't stop due to the ventury wind and that's why I came back in the wall too!

  • Thanks for sharing. You guys are pushing the limits of hardcore!

  • I like your English, it reads very good but also sometimes is funny :)

  • @svengalie oui, mais je pourrais aussi répondre en français ;-)

  • sounds like you need to make some carbon inserts to put in the vent so its impossible to close would be very easily designed and being carbon wont close under any wind pressure

  • @MadazRx8 yes exactly!!! manufacturer should too...

  • @alanjakobpaulo me too, even to enemy :-)

  • @MrFlyJeronimo me too,even to my mother in-law ;-)

  • great video - thanks for putting it out there. The canopy brushing against the wall was something pretty special. Glad it worked out good in the end for you. p.s. Is there anything that can be done to prevent such a problem as this?

  • @mrkarlhey Hi, I made a big expertise about this accident to know why it happened. The conclusion is that there is a major mistake in the design concept of the arm wing vent... the vent could close itself accidentally!!! At begenning of flight it is mortal! I will post soon a video to show how it could happened easilly. Thanks.

  • What's the sound at 0m54s?? like a horn? glad that you are stil with us!

  • @jaytherider a Vuvuzela :-) it is the flow of wind in the camera microphone... but yes it sounds like at horn to said "hurry you boy pull now!"

  • ох те е

  • Thanks for sharing.

    Blue skies bro, take care.

  • it is cool

  • LUCKY as hell. Im not a base jumper but ive got a few wingsuit jumps. Why didnt you collapse both sides when you noticed you were going unstable?

  • @jbrinkman86 The start is always a critical situation and at the beggenning arms wings are prior in the first 4 seconds. Here the right one didn't inflate but left one very quickly. When I felt that Iam going little right I've pushed down on right arm wing to correct but I didn't know that it was not inflate. Pushing down had increase the unbalance of my wingsuit and I went head down in barrell. Yes the best would have been to close left one, I couldn't suspect a such situation.

  • you spent years developing the skills to use a reserve in a split second, carry one, I was base jumping before it was called base and I'm still here,

  • You lucky cunt.

  • Quel moron.

  • close call indeed, good job staying calm and working with it

  • Need to sort out that crappy packing too. That shit will kill you base jumping.

  • Wow........

  • My gosh, I nearly fell out of my chair watching that.

Glad you survived and are in one piece, including those huge, massive balls you must have. I just about peed myself on the sky deck at the Willis Tower in Chicago . Just standing on top of The Aragon wall would give me a heart attack.

I really admire people like you who can do that kind of thing. Thanks for sharing the video of your adventure.

  • Holy bat!

  • mate you are my new hero . well done for staying calm. this could have happended to anyone jumping a larger suit, but I will always advise to buy PF suits... Robi is just far more experienced at basejumping and WS design. incredible footage and nerves of steel ! cheers and keep it up !

  • Fuck! nice you are safe and alive...

  • Man, you are so lucky...or should I a destined to live & fly !

  • Had my heart pumpin from here. Great job staying calm and doing what had to be done...Saving your life. Epic!

  • dang... Very lucky dood.

  • Man...... I was scared to death watching this. Never realized that this kind of failure was possible. Glad your ok.

  • I always trusted Robby's suits, not Tony's ;)

  • good work with the emergency pull... and you're a lucky dude for escaping a wall strike, but luck or not, glad you're still with us!

  • WOW...........

  • This report may save many people. Congratulations for the courage to share and to be alive. Many jumps.

  • My god, man. You then went out and bought $50 worth of lotto tickets, right?

  • That sure beat your morning cup of coffee eh? Unlucky and even more lucky all in the same moment.

  • close one D:

  • Very close...

  • Greetings From SERBIA

  • You don't get close calls that are much closer than that!

  • wwwoooWWW!!!!! thx god you landed ok after that wow, the scariest jump I´ve ever saw!

  • Good evidence to the fact that if you have time to panic, you have time to do something about it... You did well when the shit hit the fan! CJ

  • a jump from whitch everyone can learn....base can easily kill you, even though you dont fuck it up...I don't like xbird...see you jerome...

  • Holy balls

  • wow..way to keep calm man. haha a good BASE jump

  • I always trusted Robby's suits, not Tony's ;)

  • Good advertisement

  • UUUUH!!! glad you are still alive! That must have been fuckin scary!!!

  • All things considered, good job on saving your life.

  • Wow Scary. In those suits you can bend your knees as reach up immediately to help get your heading. Also I gotta give it up to you to steer through the line twists to miss the cliff by . . well to not hook your canopy on the wall and start the pounding that a wall strike will give you. I'm glad you were not injured. Now you can have a Happy Christmas.

  • glad that you are ok after this!

  • Goes to show that given gear failure or any other crazy situation, that it is better to be "lucky" rather than "good" any day of the week. Your canopy *just* missing the cliff wall was the most beautiful thing I've seen on the internet today.

  • thank you for posting this.

  • It's called "check your equipment".

  • Congrats that you have survived the arm wing infaltion malfunction. You had much luck not going into the cliff. I am happy that nothing happend to you. I can recommend Phoenix-Fly ;-)

If we meet us somewhere, sometime ... you will get a beer for your second birthday from me :-)

  • wow... this could easily have ended much worse. glad you worked that one out. fuckin' scary!

  • GOOD GOD! i just about shat myself WATCHING this video!
