Not watched the video, but yes. Music is haram. That is backed by ahadith and some say Qur'an. You can also find out it was haram by reading the lifetime of the Prophet (SAW) in which Allah (SWT) protected him from hearing music.

@QuranVsHadith Let me just explain why i think that muslims that pray according to Quran and sunna dont pray like discribed in the Talmud: First of all Muslims have to pray with calmness(which is not the case with praying jews because they go back and forth very fast) and as a muslim one has to be submissive.
Seconly the Prophet told that one can steal from prayer and when the companions asked how? he told them if one does not take time for his prostration and ruku then this is stealing.

@ply318 As for the prayer, we can do both, pray with the motion and words and pray with sincerity, soberness etc. I think it is better to do both than just one of those things.
As for the other Prophets, you cannot know if they had the same ritual or not. I personally think they had but we just don't have the historical records to show for all the prophets what their rituals were. Anyway may Allah guide us all to the straight path and forgive us our sins. Ameen.
For all the people who say only follow the Quran - How do you pray Salah? How much Zakat do you give? Why don't you pray Salah naked? All these things have been said in HADEETH. Actually there isn't hadiths that tell you how to pray from bgeginning to the end. If you actually read the quran it tells how 'how much zakat' you give, how you pray. Other things are done using COMMON SENSE

Not watched the video, but yes. Music is haram. That is backed by ahadith and some say Qur'an. You can also find out it was haram by reading the lifetime of the Prophet (SAW) in which Allah (SWT) protected him from hearing music.

3- Al-Salat Al-Wusta (The Middle Prayer) 2:238.

Actually there isn't hadiths that tell you how to pray from bgeginning to the end. If you actually read the quran it tells how 'how much zakat' you give, how you pray. Other things are done using COMMON SENSE

1 The word music is not mentioned in the Quran!
How could something unlawful not be banned in the quran, despite of many sins being banned in many words and verses and still no room to forbid music?
2 Music instruments were used by muslims since the prophet sallallahu aleyhi ves sellem
MUSIC AND SINGING WOULD BE HARAM BECAUSE one could inspire to do wrong....
Language qualifies for this too IS LANGUAGE HARAM?
Music CAN BE USED FOR GOOD, and in that case it is virtuous halal

You're a smart brother!! I always dispute with radicals about music but they only follow those hadiths that were made by Persian Imams! There are MILLIONS of hadiths! People, only follow the Quran and Allah will guide you to paradise! If music was haram it would be mentioned in the Quran; God can never forget to ban something bad. Music is beautiful although most mainstream music is horrible.
