Love this footage. I saw JBF a few times in Nashville many years ago and they are still one of my favorite bands. You can get music from their disc "House Blessing" on Itunes.
I saw these guys play in Mobile, AL way back in '90 or '91. Very inspiring. Reminded me a little bit of The Cult or The Doors. I seem to remember that the guy playing guitar with short blond hair was indicted for capital murder. Roy something or other was his name. But that could have just been a ridiculous rumor started to add to the mystique. I remember getting a cassette at the show with this song on it. Very good band!
These guys were playing around Nashville before the 1990s, weren't they? I'd swear at some point, I had them on tape off WRVU from back around 1986 or so. Got any more; I'd love to hear it.
Thanks for posting this. Brings back the memories of countless JBF performances...Vinegar Works? Speed? Van Allen Belt? anything?? Would love to see it.
I used to work with the Drummer Jimbo,,,he's an AWESOME guy...I hope he is doing well!
