Hard for me to make a judgement of the man because I honestly don't know the whole story. Growing up, I always was given the impression he was a mad dictator, but perhaps the measures he took were what he saw as necessary. As an American, it is difficult to get both sides of an issue. I can't really jump to any conclusion after seeing this. Regardless he seemed warm and loving to his family. I don't think there is any such thing as a truly "evil" person. Everything is relative.

Hard for me to make a judgement of the man because I honestly don't know the whole story. Growing up, I always was given the impression he was a mad dictator, but perhaps the measures he took were what he saw as necessary. As an American, it is difficult to get both sides of an issue. I can't really jump to any conclusion after seeing this. Regardless he seemed warm and loving to his family. I don't think there is any such thing as a truly "evil" person. Everything is relative.

@egset33 You're correct. My friends father was going to murder Gadaffi. He attempted to go in and kill him with a group of people and they were all killed apart from him who survived. I have asked my friends father a lot of questions about Gaddafi and I seem to understand why Libya hated Gaddafi so much. From his prospective Gaddafi was a very greedy man.

Libya is a rich country yet the Libyan living standard was extremely poor.
