It was actually very highly reviewed and tested at Nickelodeon. The pilot was very well recieved. But when they found out they had to make a Madagascar Penguins tv show (as part of a contract with Dreamworks)...Emperor got cancelled.
That's the breaks. but thank you all for watching.
Sorry for the double commenting, but I'm wondering why it never went on as a series. It has its potential and really tickled my funny bone. I also just realised that the lion's den looks exactly like the place in The Lion King!
Senior BoomBoom.. that's funny. It was pretty good, I'm sure my little girl would have liked it. I'll have to show it to her later. The pictures at the end were great.

Really nice! A great short, but I can see why it might not have worked as a series, as I wanted to beat the crap out of Albert myself by the end.

That's pretty funny. I like the drawings at the end. I think it would have looked better if the animation was hand-drawn.
