@johntechwriter This is not a 'fake' per se, as there is no footage available of Vaslav Nijinky at all in the world. The only way to try and bring him alive is by reconstructing a bunch of his photos to try an get some movement out of them. So that is exactly what this video has done, which is remarkable :)
@KenViewer A FAKE? What is wrong with you? This is not a fake; rather it is an honest and respectful attempt to give those of us who love Niinsky a chance to 'imagine' him in motion. There is no intention here to defraud! That is obvious. No moving film footage of the great man exists in this world, which for ballet-lovers is a tragedy. This footage is an hommage, and a truly welcome one, at that.
Christian Comte: c'est un très beau travail, et très poétique, mais vous devriez signaler à chaque clip que c'est une reconstruction. Quand on tombe dessus par hasard ce n'est pas clair.
In every clip you should warn it is a reconstruction, not an original movie. We have to watch your interview in your profile to understand how they have been made. Anyway, bravo !
BRAVO, indeed! So wonderful for those of us who love Niinsky to 'see' him in motion, and not just pictured in still photographs. Thank you!

Can't people tell from the puppet-like movements that this is fake? What puzzles me is why someone would go to the trouble.

I saw this movie yesterday and was amazed (and kind of freaked out) by the Faun - I found this via searching on Nijinksy. TX
