Fantastic song, probably my favourite Slade song. I agree, it's too good to be a 'B' side. The same could be said for many of their other 'B' sides too - Wonderin' Y for example.

you guys still make me cry using songs I first heard when I was six - (thx Rainer!).

Now I´m 41, and I had the great pleasure to enjoy the SLADE live in in 1997 and 2009 having my now ten-year-old daughter Elisa with me - now attendg her fourth guitar course telling her teacher not to finish till the kids know  Far Far Away!

If I didn´t luv my wife so much I´ d trade her for a reunion gig in front of my house...

cheers Rob - actually when I was 40 (nearly 10 years ago) I wrote to Noddy who was working as a DJ for Century FM in Manchester and he sent me a signed photo, how good is that ! I have it very safe and secure !!

Their "B-sides" were usually superior to most bands "A-sides"! Whenever anyone mentions the U.K.,the first thing that comes to my mind is Noddy,Jim,Dave,and Don. Wish they would at least do a one-off reunion concert to be released on DVD,kind of like what the band Cream did...

Absolute classic Slade... so many people are not aware of their 'B' sides and earlier material.

I think Slade were often so misunderstood and misaligned.

I personally think they deserve SO much more credit than many give them... MANY would be pleasantly surprised if they gave a LOT of Slade's material a fair chance.

One of the best bands... EVER!, end of.

@oilcat Hi Oilcat. I still have my copy too and as far as Slade songs go both of them are in my top ten. I've never heard any negative comments about either of them. Just think what may have happened if they had been released as a double A side and even the none Slade record buying public would have been treated to the beautiful melody and backing vocals of this wonderful song.
