when is this group of krishna devotees ( hare krishna or krishna BHAKTAS ) - as a performing troup - tour USA and other european countries ? If it takes place - it will be a grand event with people flocking and trying to get enlightened.. The performance will leave it's imprint .

as i understand this video is recorded when this shyam dance was enacted (performed ) in Hongkong , with the guidance of Indradyumna swami. But I would like to see the same group performing in USA . IN USA , other groups performed the dance for this song - in North carolina, in SALT LAKE city and other places. None of them are as good as this performance.

There are numerous Krishna devotees who perform Bharatanatyam and other classical dance forms. In fact it's more common to find classical Indian dancing at most Iskcon festivals than any other style. This is really a unique and beautiful piece. Since the song is not in raga form it wouldn't be appropriate to use classical dance.

Agree with you.This is an English song not set in any RAAGA. I am not alluding to this particular song, See my posts earlier in appreciation of this performance. I wanted to bring to the attention of all Krishna devotees,particularly who are performing -about the rich reservoir of a number of INDIAN classical dances,all of which are spiritually rooted mainly krishna centered too.Yes,lot od Krishna devotees know that but lot of others dont.
