Agreed. All this talk about god, christ, life after death, prayer is missing the point. As living, civil people we need to stand up together against tyranny through the spreading of information about these crimes against humanity. Could not agree more. In that context I have mentioned the Gospel of the Second Coming which is about forgiveness and living from the heart, based on universal values. We do not need saviors or masters to teach us how to ascend, how our soul must be redeemed, or how to be saved. We need to be the change we want to see in the world.

Agreed. All this talk about god, christ, life after death, prayer is missing the point. As living, civil people we need to stand up together against tyranny through the spreading of information about these crimes against humanity. We must boycott companies that support these terrible acts against people. Divestment and sanctions is but a few of the tactics we can use to show we are serious about helping our fellow humans in their struggle for freedom and self determination.

Education is very important.
To cheer evil on is also bad. Empathy is not within an evil soul.
However there are many reasons people stand by, the most significant reason is because of propaganda control of international affairs. EX: CFR
This form of control is counter to, and against education. That is why it is important to break free of the propaganda influences in this day and age by using the Internet as a benefit.
Fear is one of the other factors. We all know about that one.

I agree that in order for civil society to move forward we must develop a stronger level of universal empathy for others. I disagree with your second remark about no positive change coming from criticizing people's beliefs. It is certain extreme ideological belief systems that fueled such atrocities as the Crusades, Spanish Inquisition, French Wars of Religion, Thirty Years War, Sabra and Shatila massacre, Taiping Rebellion and that's just Christianity.

I guess I was not very clear, so I apologize. I should have said, that those wishing to move forward together for the betterment of all regardless of belief, will achieve their goals, where constant bickering on who is right and who is wrong will never see harmony in pursuit of the same goal. Sometimes it is better to be polite.
As for the examples you mentioned, there was not one example of 2 sides seeking the same thing together.

A very powerful video...accurate in many ways. However, I question this: Zionism - is not the Land of Israel being attacked by enemy factions within Palestine? Not the children and other innocents, but recognized terrorists? If so, does that not give Israel the 'right' to answer in kind? I'm earnist in this and not being argumentative...I would like to understand more completely...fore was not the execution of Nazi's, etc, justified? If so, is Israel not 'justified' in Her response?

I have a 9-part documentary titled Occupation 101 that chronicles what has happened in Palestine over the last 62 years. It is very well made and an eye opener to the very reality that is going on over there. I highly recommend it to anyone that may suffer from the ills of an intended propaganda smear by corporate television.
