  • @GodShapedHope Thats a pretty big condemnation for you to make, reason?

  • amen ......God bless paul washer

  • @LouieG7777

Yeah man! I know what you're saying. Just don't let you pursuit of the commandment get in the way of your pursuit of God. That may sound weird, but not all work is wrong on the Sabbath! Jesus Himself showed that when He healed that man with the withered hand on the Sabbath (made the Jewish leaders pretty mad! haha). As of right now, I believe God has shown me it's wrong to work for a profit on the Sabbath, but if its to help people, go for it!

  • Preach it Brother Washer! "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.

    ~Isaiah 40:8

  • Keep His commandments. Start with the 10, especially the 4th (the Sabbath.) Don't believe that lie that the Sabbath is only for the Jews. It was set apart since Genesis chapter 2 verse 3 for ALL mankind.

  • Great video, for those who are interested in counseling that comes from the Bible only, check out the national assembly of nouthetic counselors (NANC). They speak against the current and old so called sciences of psychology and hold the Bible as their sole manual for life and godliness.

  • Hm, I guess that settles that wtih CarpeOmne. . .

  • @CarpeOmne We would, if Jesus hadn't already paid the perfect sacrifice, finishing the need for continual sacrifices. . . Very observant of you, you just forgot to take the New Testament into consideration. . .

  • @atgblue1

Where does Jesus say "stop sacrificing goat and cattle"?

  • @CarpeOmne In the New Testament. He says he fulfilled the Old Covenant, (Old Testament). And we are now under Grace.

  • @atgblue1

He says explicitly "I have not come to abolish the laws of the prophets" (such as animal sacrifice and genital mutilation), "but to fulfill" (referring to the prophecies, many of which he didn't fulfill, but that's another debate)

  • @CarpeOmne That is what he said. However, by "fulfill", he didn't mean only prophecies, but also the yearly sacrifice made by the people for forgiveness of sins. He fulfilled that by making a perfect sacrifice, therefore, we need not do the sacrifices again, it has been paid once and for all. See Hebrews 7:27 "Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself."

  • @atgblue1

It seems we found a contradiction then, havent we? Jesus says he supports the law 100% (with the single exception of clean/unclean foods) and the law includes animal sacrifice. Yet your Bible quote says that is not so, that certain laws dont count anymore.

Also, this means he would have had to change the law (another contradiction since the Bible says its unchanging), to make himself a sacrifice (which also contradicts the bible because it says explicitly a sacrifice cant be human).

  • @CarpeOmne No contradiction. Jesus does support both Old and New Testaments. He never opposed animal sacrifices, only his Perfect atonment on the cross covered all sins in a complete sense so that we no longer need to offer less-than-perfect goats and cattle (the quote I used). also, Jesus didn't sacrifice himself on an altar like an animal, He died an unjust death and took upon himself all sin so that the wrath of God could be satisfied, hence freeing us from sin if we believe.

  • Paul "The Truth" Washer

  • Is a study-bible ok?

  • @remi777692 A study Bible is fine, but remember the commentary is only a "sermon" from a theologian, (the one who wrote it), and can be biased, filled with errors as the man is only human and sinful, or it can be incomplete. Just as Paul Washer would be disgusted if we took everything he said as truth without checking it with the Bible, so to you may use a commentary like you would listen to a preacher, be sure to pray yourself and not take what they say as fact. . .

  • Amen and amen!

  • I dont know why you say such absurd remarks. but I fear for you sir, because God is Holy, and He will not tolerate and cannot tolerate your blasphemy. REPENT.

  • Im sorry, but God never commands you to kill your own children. I know that you know, that what you are saying is absolutely preposterous and wrong. I would kindly like to challenge you into giving me the verse you are quoting, and I will give my stand on it.

  • Could you please quote me Deuteronomy 21:18-21?

  • sory for the late reply. heres my answer. you can stone your son to death if you want to, he deserves to die because of the wicked things he has commited. but Jesus said, "he who is without sin cast the first stone." You are not deserving to execute judgment on your own son, for you too deserve to be stoned to death and sent to hell for eternity because of the wicked things you have done in deed and in thought. Jesus commands you to forgive others just as He has forgiven you.

  • @sajfen Very Intellectual of you! So true, except you forgot the fact that Jesus Christ brought the Law, (where you draw your scriptures from) to completion and we no longer are bound by the law for we are under Grace, as specifically stated in Romans, (and other places).

  • Good word!

  • AMEN TO THAT!!!!

  • if you have told even one lie,you are a liar and the bible says that all liars will have their part in the lake of fire-if you have stolen even one thing, you are a thief and the bible says that no thief will inherit the kingdom of GOD-JESUS said if you look at a person with lust you have commited adultery in your heart and the bible says that no adulterer will inherit the kingdom of GOD! you broke GODs laws, but JESUS paid your fine! you must repent or you will perish!

  • @VUTRUDOIN Amen mate.

  • @VUTRUDOIN I saved what you wrote lol that was legit
