OMG... I was there, across the heart from you, and what a wonderful experience... After you got off the stage you couldn't stop smiling. You did really, really well up there. I wish I had pics or videos for you... My friends and I talked to you for a second after the show, but you were completely on cloud nine and I'm sure it was a blur...
I too was at this show. Best concert I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. It was only 2 months after 9/11 and the crowd was very emotional the entire night, especially when they displayed the names of those killed in the attacks (the crowd cheered when some of the Bay Area victims were displayed).
Oh, and to top it off I watched the entire concert standing 5 feet away from Gwen Stefani (No Doubt opened the show). Yeah, it was a good night.
I was at that show and it was one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had at a U2 show. My friend and I just looked at each other and screamed when we figured out what song it was. I get chills just thinking of it. Just INCREDIBLE!!!
I Just stubbled across this. I was right there. Bono did the same thing at the Cow Palace in 85. In fact the guy who played in 85 was there trying to get back up there. Well done scott! Bono was completely thrown off. I tried to get up there and go into I will follow. But you beat me to it! A great moment, scott!
OMG! U surpurised me m8. I thought I wz the one loving ths song. Gr8 choice and a dream come true. THUMBS UP TO U M8. One of the most diff video seen in a long time on YT. 5stars.
I was in that concert too!! I remember you had a sign saying that you play the guitar. I´m from Argentina and I walways tell the story that Bono let a guy to play the guitar with them. Bono asked The Edge to bring you a guitar. It was amazing. You should've seen your face at the end of the song when everybody was celebrating your performance! I have some recordings from that concert so I'll check them over to see if you are in there.U2 played two consecutive nights that time and I was in both.
The crowd is ballistic lol
