you could tell his first moonwalk wasnt perfect like his later work, and i recently found out he refused to do this at first but eventually agreed if he could have this song all alone. but otherwise amazing performance, i would give limbs to be able to dance like that.

Michael was the most amazing singer,dancer and performer of our age and it was a sad day when he left us:-(For all those that were accusing him of doing all the bad things that the media helped along..You should ALL be ashamed of yourselves!!!He was a true humanitarian and had charities to help everyone from animals,cancer patients to children and more!!!He was someone that made this world a better place...and he is missed a lot and will ALWAYS be remembered as the KING OF POP :-) RIP Michael...

Younger people have a hard time appreciating this I think because today it's completely common for every singer (big star or not) to dance like mad on stage and in videos -- they don't understand that in MJ's day, he was the first in many generations, to bring dance and song back together on stage in a live performance in a meaningful contemporary way.

This is undeniably the GREATEST performance in the history of music. (My Opinion). he just rocked the stage that night. the standing ovation from the audience is 100X more stronger and louder. then the previous performance with his brothers. Thank you for the pop up comments in your video, interesting to see which details caught your eye. Michael is absolutely mesmerizing here. I've always thought that at the end when he opens his eyes, the look in his eyes is that he is surprised to receive a standing ovation. I think in his book he talks about how he was disappointed with this performance. Can't imagine how hard he was on himself. This performance is legendary.

Your insight is distracting and inaccurate. You pointed out the toe stance but didn't even mention that Michael planned to stay on his toes for much longer but didn't and cried about it after the show. He wanted perfection and talked about this in an interview. This is musical history by a musical genius and your comments are like walking us through DiVinci painting the Mona Lisa.
