CDC studies consistently have shown that Blacks have much higher rates of STD infection than Whites. This goes for herpes, syphilis, and gonorrhea. If they are "less promiscuous", as Bauer alleges, how does he account for these findings? I agree with him that HIV is not an STD, and therefore should not be used to gauge promiscuity rates among Blacks; however, "HIV" antigen results show what separates the races is far more than skin color--and that is the "racist" taboo in medical research.

WHY for Heaven's sake? If one attempts to question this absurdity with any of the HIV test kit manufacturers or Path Labs, nobody will be prepared to give one an answer, instead, invariably one will be told "That's how the tests are DESIGNED".

What! Why not use NEAT blood, as is the NORM with the majority of viral testing?

@annie46664 The fact that a kit or any reagent in molecular biology could be used with such a dilute samples shows it's affinity. Imagine if one could detect the target (antibody here) in the so called "NEAT" blood, how much of the target would be present in a 400times concentrated sample!! The correlation will not even be linear..
