Beautiful tribyte. Made me cry. I don't have diabetes but i have a couple of things that i have to live with everyday & this song has really helped me gain strength to never give up & more importantly to hold on a little bit longer. Your description of this vid is perfect. & i'm sorry to hear about your mum but she sounds like a truly amazing woman. xox

i'm crying a little bit. he's such an inspiration.

my aunt had diabetes & thyroid cancer. she suffered weight loss & gain and for a while she was in a wheelchair. she passed away in february of '08. may she rest in peace. ♥

it's great that your mom doesn't let it slow her down.

the message of "a little bit longer" really is true. it applies to so many things in my life, and it reminds me that things will always get better. i wear my dogtag every day for that reason.

Nick's message really is a universal one, which makes this song that much more powerful to anyone and everyone who listens to it. Not to mention, the speeches he makes during this song at their shows are just... there are no words. At my show, he spoke so confidently of a cure, and that made me tear up more than anything, especially for my mom. =)

I wear one of Nick's dog tags for my mom. So I know what you mean.

i got goosebumps watching this. he is truly an inspiration to everyone. I'm glad that your mom is well and that you find inspiration with this song. :) I couldn't imagine anyone who doesn't become inspired by it. ♥

Might I ask.. who is whining? My mom has diabetes, as I mentioned in the video description. She doesn't whine and neither does Nick. The point of this video was to show how Nick has turned it around and is doing quite the opposite of whining. He's using it to the advantage of thousands of kids with diabetes.

Oh yeah...cry about it. I know people with diabetes, and I was thought to have it. My friend has diabetes and he's perfectly normal. He doesn't whine about it.
