and having many powers and the way phoebe and the others(excludin paige for a short time) though he was evil when he became possessed and then ask him to take back the evil what was there FREAKIN problem but i still say cole was the most dangerous one they had to fight then zankou then billie and christie

This is one of the reasons why cole is just a beast if he didnt love phoebe everyone knows the charmed ones would have been killed long ago even if they found paige and I'm still pissed how they handled his storyline man stuck in a void to see the sisters and phoebe with their husbands thats some cruel punishment and I've never felt coop and phoebe had a real connection it felt too fake and rushed but no matter this is one of the reasons why cole has been the source and the avatar

@deadforsakenn No they didn't because Phoebe's love for Cole kept him on the "Good Side", if the B**ch had stuck by him while the Source was possessing Cole while he was Human than Cole would never had to have escape the Wasteland that his Human Soul was sent to after the Source was finely killed by the Morons. And the in the end, Cole's Soul wouldn't be stuck in the void between Heaven/Hell for the rest of Time, or until he "Redeems" himself or lands a major sin while still practically a ghost.

the reason Cole screams at the end is becouse this is the point where Cole-The Human Half gains full control over his/Balthazar's body for the first time ever, before this point it was like being possesed by a demon, a passenger in his own body. If it wasn't for his love for the wh*re-back-stabbing-b*tch "Freebee" he'd still be a loyal servent to the Sorce with the Balthazar-Demon Half still in full control.

@bomblast2000 actually The Source had Benjamin Turner's soul hidden away just in case Cole's human half every gained it's freedom, after that happened Balthazar's old mentor Raynor, leader of the Brotherhood of the Thorn, was given Ben's soul to use as leverage against Cole so that Raynor and the other Brotherhood members could make Balthazar the dominate half again.

I like that all it took was some small measure of agility of Cole's part to kill them...I never understood why demons wouldn't just wait until like 2 in the morning, then shimmer into the Charmed One's bedrooms and kill them quickly and quietly. it's kind of like demons are...kind of incredibly stupid and unnecessarily pompous.

Well they'll be back. Paige kills one through a trick, Piper kills another with her blasting power and Christy kills the last one. Then in the series finalie they're destroyed forever when their souls are destroyed in the final battle.

@Kelster711 Thing is that Belthazor is considered a "very powerful upper level demon", which means he can potentially kill just about any demon if unprepared (Zankou, The Source, The Triad etc.). Haven't seen Season 8 much but I'm well on my way there.

Death of The Triad was screwed up completely. Such powerfull demons like Triad should have never been vanquished by knife or energy ball.

I will refer to Cole (as The Source) and Kurzon battle. Cole threw knife at Kurzon but it didn't make him any harm. Later he attacks Kurzon with fireball, it knokcs down Kurzon but didn't kill him.

Here we see Triad vanquished by knife and energy ball that is weaker than fireball.

Cole also survived Raynor's energy ball.

Where is logic there?

The member of the Triad that was killed by the energy ball can be easily explained. Remember, their power is like those of the Avatar's in that if one dies, the rest are weakened.

As far as the one that was vanquished by the knife, you have a point about how he was too easily vanquished by a simple knife.

They were plotting to kill the source. Is it not the goal of any demon to be the most powerful? Tarquin says that the brotherhood "never did trust the triad" and for very good reason. And anyway, just because they answer directly to the source doesn't mean they aren't plotting against him. Think about it, the best way to destroy someone is from within.

There is no episode which gives absolute proof, believe me, I've watched them all. But its very easy to believe and imagine that those in that sort of power position would want to achieve more power - the highest power in the underworld. The Triad are probably second only to the source, on a par with his leading demons like Raynor and the brotherhood.

A real life example of destroying from within could be UKIP (the United Kingdom Independance Party) who seek to bring down the EU from within, or Adolf Hitler gaining power in germany - through the reichstag and then destroying its powers. Two good examples of destroying from within.

Extremely powerful, yes. Highly resistant, no. We can still kill them even with Phoebe's power (if we come up with a perfect plan of course).

I think it's because unlike Source, who have to survive like thousands of fights to keep his position save, The Triad only good at bossing and giving orders, so they don't really have to fight much. That's why their resistance are really low.

Plus, they're like the Charmed Ones, one down, the others weakened. I still love their huge fireball though...

I think you are wrong.The Triad were second to the Source only .Each one of them was superior than any upper level demon. No one could reach the top of underworld and remain there for so long if he were so fragile. Common, Cole kills one of them just by braking the neck!!! I think theeasy death of the Triad is one of movies mistakes.
