  • No crossing gates at any of the crossings!

  • c

    c

  • the emd's sound great!

  • looks like you got a little smoked out up there.

  • At 4:50, why a STOP sign?

    Unneeded.

No signal for the opposing direction traffic?

Nice video, especially showing start-up of wigwag. Thank you.

At 7:45, is horn late? Or is this YouTube sound delay.

    Thank you.

  • Since it's a wig-wag signal, it's safer to have a stop sign for people to take the time to look; just as a school bus has to do.

  • Then why have a signal?

That's the whole purpose of a signal - to tell you if a train is coming or not.

What a waste -the fuel waste and pollution of 1,000s of vehicles needlessly stopping and accelerating again.

(However, I park and get out and examine any wigwag I encounter!)

  • Taking a look @ the video be4 the train arrives, it looks like the stop sign is posted for traffic control unrelated to the RR crossing, as the T inter. is just beyond the tracks. Notice, there isn't a stop sign on the other side of the tracks. there may be one for the street from teh left, hard to tell, but there is a sign post there. Lima Ctr is a very small town, so there are like 4 vehicles per day that have to stop @ that intersection!!! lol j/k. Who know's what the locals were thinking?

  • Thanks.

Normally, if a wigwag signal is on our right (as seen here), it would be just beyond the track. A compromise giving both directions a more equal view of one signal.

Here, it is on our side of the street AND our side of the track, giving us more advantage and the opposing traffic less visibility.

At that "T" intersection, I would expect a STOP sign for opposing traffic.

I see a crossbuck with no signal and no STOP sign.

Is it a non-conforming strange two-way STOP intersection?

  • Usually that wig-wag would be located on the other side of the track to give them more equal visibility of it.

Bell is separate from this wig-wag.

  • CAN SOMEONE SHOOT THE 4076 AND 4077 AND IN MADISION THEY HAS A SWITCHER IN THE WSOR yard and in Alotoona on the Union Pacific they had an ex WSOR SD20 2054 As the 4th and last unit of the Train Yesterday

  • Did anyone else notice the idiot in the Chevy pickup that ran the crossing signal in Whitewater segment?

  • 4052 was in Morris today!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WELL I DON'T BELIEVE IT! THERE WAS A GUILFORD CAR ON THE END OF THE TRAIN! UNBELIEVABLE! Nice video. and NICE HORN!

  • Clearly the junction after the one with the wig wag needs a barricade lol you just clearly caught someone passing the red lights flashing lol.
