  • The story what your pictures telling is the stuff i had to translate when i went to school and i think your video is very interesting and informative :-) Thank you for that!^^ Greeings from Germany

  • you welcome friend...

  • Yanitsaros, troyans were also greeks ;) Troy was just greek colony in asia wich became a city state for it's own purpose ;) so they were a part of hellenic world. greetings

  • Petro my believes similar to yours, according to Homer, trojans were worshiping same gods as Mycenaean, now the regions were dominated by Hittites which worshiped different gods. so this might be a continous war between Greek city-states. even b4 trojan war we have reference for the war of the 7 against Thebes, those clearly 7 city-states allied in the war, also later on the peloponisian war and much later the destruction of Thebes by Alexander the Great, Thebes fate was similar to that of Troy

  • Not just from Homer, there is plenty of evidence from Greece and from Troy that Troyans were hellenic from Myceniean period, that is 1600-1050 B.C. ;) before "people from sea" destroyed Mycenea and Hetits in Asia :) but Ramses II stoped them... do you know that filisteians from Bible are decendents of that "sea people"? :) they were indo-european mix of all kind of tribes... :)

  • yes i agree, but the sea people might be Mycenaean themselves pirating the surrounding coastal regions, specially after they have been attacked by Dorian invaders, so they were trying to gain another foothall in the regions. even in Odyssey we hear that Odysseus companion in the Nile delta were trying to surprise the locals for their goods.

  • Interesting development Petro.Fantastic vide.Confratulations.
