I think another angle to look at this is that a lot of these terrorist attacks are guerilla warfare attacks in war zones. I am not condoning these terror attacks by any means, but counting these guerilla attacks as terror attacks would be like counting the Viet Cong attacks during the Vietnam war as terrorism, when in fact they were guerilla war tactics. If one counted each Viet Cong attack as a terrorist attack the numbers probably would resemble these figures.

I think the mathematical conclusion reached by Fareed Zakaria is logical because there's no way 157 million muslims are terrorists. I think another angle to look at this is that a lot of these terrorist attacks are guerilla warfare attacks in war zones. I am not condoning these terror attacks by any means, but counting these guerilla attacks as terror attacks would be like counting the Viet Cong attacks during the Vietnam war as terrorism, when in fact they were guerilla war tactics. If one counted each Viet Cong attack as a terrorist attack the numbers probably would resemble these figures.

I think the mathematical conclusion reached by Fareed Zakaria is logical because there's no way 157 million muslims are terrorists. But that's not what Beck was suggesting. He said there are that number of Muslim terrorists.

@1x90 There may well be millions of people who support the actions of terrorists, but there are also millions in the Muslim world who don't. Hating America's policies does not make you a terrorist. If that were the case, a lot of French and Canadian people are terrorists.

What's sad about this is that Zakaria will never get the ratings Beck does bc America has more ignorant ppl who would rather be entertained than informed. Beck is completely full of crap but he is entertaining to those that share his slanted views, whereas Fareed is reasoned and informative but completely unsensational. Ratings are based on shock value not providing information.

Didn't anyone even bother to actually watch what Glenn said? Everyone here is arguing about math and crap but no one is actually looking up stuff for themselves. I do look for evidence, I wont take anything anyone says as truth and I sure as hell wont run blindly around making false claims or comparisons that have nothing to do with the issue.
Read or watch what Glenn said, whether he is right or wrong is one thing but at least know what he said right before you "try" to argue about it.

This reporter is taking what Glenn had said out of context, he was asking what percentage of terrorists are Muslim, not that 10% of Muslims are terrorist. He also was right in saying that some would take what he said out of context lol.
I can only laugh at how dumb some think the public in general is.
Look up what Glenn actually said, don't take anything anyone says for truth, do your own homework and get educated.

George Bush commited thousands of them and he's not even Muslim. We (America) are still paying for his terrorism on the world. I am a conservative that is openminded enough to know that not everything Beck or any other "journalist" says is true. Most of the time what Beck says is true. I'm willing to take a look at any evidence to prove him wrong. Do you think it's possible that 10% of Mulims adhere to the teachings in the Koran about killing every infidel? I would really like to see it. I am on a journey for the truth, not someone's idea of truth. If Beck has the truth, then so be it. If not, then someone out there does. Show us the truth about what Beck says and we can all be enlightened by it.

And a large percentage of these terrorist attacks affect INNOCENT CIVILIANS!
