Here are the chords (each chord symbol represents one beat. It's not as it's actually played, but seeing the beats will help show you were the chord changes actually take place):
Bm!D D D D
Am!C C C C
G G C!G C
(the exclamation points should be replaced by forward slashes, indicating a "slash chord" [with a non-root bass note.] YouTube comments don't allow forward- or back-slashes
Hey is there anyway you can refilm this from above so I can see what notes you are playing with your left hand? You play really well, and I have been teaching myself a bunch of songs from youtube vids. this would be perfect. Well done.
@captainevdo Left hand basically alternates an octave up and down on the basic chord pattern so it's D(low)/D(high), C(low), C(high), G(low)/G(high)/G(low), and then a litttle hop on A/B up to D again. Pretty easy, even for me.
I like that this arrangement is not only simpler to play than others I've seen but sounds more like the original.
And he looks like Kevin Spacey!

Hey, Purists pardon me but may I be allowed to say this gentleman's version is better than Zevon's?
