Well, just look at the record?.. Tigers always win against Lions, this Tiger was Small but it was throwing the lion around. Not only did it look faster and in more control of the fight, but is was more ferocious, the lion seamed clumsy and was one the floor most of the time even though it was larger. To be honest, I think the only reason the lion won the title of the king of beasts is because of his main. The tiger lunged at the lion's neck, again and again but it was no good. the reason why the tiger laid down on its back is because of sever back injury. like i said before i seen this happen with hyenas,leopards and even when lions fight eachother. the tiger never got up it was fighting on its side. the back injury prevented it from totally standing just like in that video when the lion snapped the back of the hyena.

The reason the Male wins is in its tenacity and sheer aggression fuelling its attacks. The Tiger is just defending itself, the Lion is not used to such a Bite force either which is why it hesitates from the Tiger a few times, those bites are 1000 psi.

lions stand 4ft at the shoulder will tigers are much shorter at the shoulder. lions also have a wider chest so of course a full grown male lion would always look bigger especially at what ever the camera angle is aiming at.

the mane is no protection at all. ive sen two male lions kill eachother many of times with huge manes. actually the mane hinders them because the tigers paws get caught in it then the tiger tugs back pulling the hair over the lions face blinding it.a tiger is big in fat they have pounds of loose skin and fat while a lion has none. lions are all muscle.

dale miquelle, a big cat expert, said siberian tigers average close to 400 lbs. guggisberg said that, in a study of 200 bengals, he found that they averaged about 190 kg.
the ehaviest recorded lion was 930 lbs...1025 lbs for a siberian male. that`s not enough of a difference to suggest that they average more.

i hope you know at least half of its wieght is due to the tremendous amount of loose skin and fat drooping down its body. a lion is pure muscle which is why you would never see a male lion losing to any cat. male lions may have one of the slowest paw swipes but they have the hardest. they have been seen breaking the neck of wilderbeast and zebra with a single swipe. they can kill a man with one hit,you realize when the lion hits the tiger its head snap with tremendous force.

To be honest, I think the only reason the lion won the title of the king of beasts is because of his main. The tiger lunged at the lion's neck, again and again but it was no good. The main acts as a protective shield against a neck hold. That was the dissadvantage the tiger had. This is a sad video however. Love the action, but not if it's at the expance of someone or something's life.

That's a very bad comparison. You can't compare a Tiger to a hyena.
The two animals have very similar swipe force when compared pound for pound.

the reason why the tiger laid down on its back is because of sever back injury. like i said before i seen this happen with hyenas,leopards and even when lions fight eachother. the tiger never got up it was fighting on its side. the back injury prevented it from totally standing just like in that video when the lion snapped the back of the hyena.

i do not support this act anyway,but the reason why the tiger was on its back is maybe because of a broken back. one swipe from an lion or tiger they can break eachother spine or a bite to the back can dislocate a bone. when a cat lies defenseless on its side thats a sign of a back injury which usually result to paralysis.

I'm not even involved in this ancient, ongoing lion vs tiger argument but all I can say is that this DOES look rigged. The end of the vid was crap quality and the tiger just suddenly dropped like a lead weight. The lion is getting owned at 1:00 on then you see the tiger flop on its side and then they splice in a little "kill" footage. It makes perfect sense that the tiger fell & the lion stopped due to a gunshot and they had to Hollywood in the ending so it would look like the lion won.

The way that tiger just drops at the end is ridiculous lookin.. looks like it was shot or somethin! and its in bad light hard to see.. id say its modified

Ok I am an expert. A full grown Male Lion only defends, A Male Siberian or any tiger for that matter will kill to feed its pride, Female lioness are left to fight, Oh and what happens when the Male finally arrives? His line is gone! And He's next! And Knows it, now theres nothing to defend, Uhm...Next..Have seen it in captivity and the wild in Japan.Tigers Rule!

The props u rtotally wrong tigers r not considered kings of beast, no were. Lions gots its crown from Rome, yet many people as of today try to make up so many lies,n excuses, because they favor the tiger. Lions r taller than tigers, n they have more expirience. The props yes I say is more like sayin light heavy agaisnt heavyweight. Tigers got the upperhand,longer,heavier, but the lion is a better fighter. U evr seen Bruce lee

"IF"this is taken from a movie isnt it mean that it was scrpted,cors'they can't script the fight but thy can script the end of the fight right?lets say put the tiger to sleep or w8 till it sleeps?anyway,why claim that lion is the king of the beast?i mean the tiger is the king in asia,last time i cheked lion is the king of the beast in some places but not everywhere,so stop claiming,we don't do that anymore,i think its just raisism,and of couse that means there is no ending in this debate.

The tiger didint die at that moment, the lion got a good paw swipe on the face made the tiger fall uncosious, he died after the fight. Get your facts straight,Mr Henry king what else r u gonna say small tiger,tigress.

the tiger is faster but the lion has more experience and it sjob is purilt o fight and protect. i think the tiger would win beacause of its speed and weight but the it can swing both ways one thing that has to be agreed is these animals shouldnt be fighting each other

Sorry but this video is too strange... a tiger can't died suddenly like that. In this movie, lion never wounded this tiger. He never bite it. Tiger dominated lion in this video, but tiger fall suddenly with no reasons... I think tiger has been poisoned. Look fight between lions or tiger, they never died suddenly like that. For kill quickly a tiger or a lion, it must have a bite on the neck... this video is really too strange.

So when they actually see that a Lion is beating the crap of their huge beast, they will try to say it's

In reality the Lion will be the winner no matter
if he is facing a siberian or a regular size tiger. The Lion is known to be smarter than other cats. the Lion also possesses more fighting experience fighting than a Tiger. The Lion has the ability to learn fast and carry on with his strategies. The Tiger is a hunter more than a fighter. That's why the Lion would come on top.

beleive what you wanto believe, people say they were african lions used in korea, it could be true, but im sure they were asiathic lions and were not wildbreed. You may think everyone favors the tiger as the winner, but is not true, most of these posts of youtube lions vs tigers are koreans. The funny thing is when the tiger looses they would claim it was a tigress.

The koreans have set these fights up and most of the time the tiger wins.. look at all the video's on here.. i think u see about 2 lions winnin and the rest are all of the tigers winnin! did u see the link on the site that shows the report of a tiger killing a rhino?? now thats impressive!

Mcraoll that site is made by Koreans, it is based on peoples opinions not experts. It is not a realiable source. If tigers were winners in Rome then y Rome refused them to be as an icon to kings, y didint they make statues of them, y werent they called kings of beast?

i did dome research about the colliseum batlles. I also came to know That the almighty legend maximus, has many records of defeating tigers. IN the colliseum dog baits were also used agaisnt lions, even bears.
