This song is from the Holy Chapel in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (Playstation 1). It has nothing to do with Symphony X. There was the same problem once with the band Apocalyptica.

When I found this song it was listed under Symphony X but after noticing it isn't on any of their albums, I realized it must be by someone else, so I searched and found this.

Excellent song though, just like many other Castlevania themes. I actually find a lot of video game music is good to be honest, video game composers are underrated.

Since some people seem to be bitching about the name of the song and so forth, let me clarify.

The name of the song is 'Requiem for the Gods', by 'Michiru Yamane'. It is from the game 'Castlevania: Symphony of the Night', or 'Akumajō Dracula X: Gekka no Yasōkyoku' (Demon Castle Dracula X: Nocturne in the Moonlight) in Japanese, so any of those would suffice. Can even add 'Original Soundtrack' at the end if you would want to.

Definitely one of my favorite songs from the game. So haunting...
